Hmm Goes the distance for sure. McCallum is superior technically but Lamotta was a bigger middleweight would set one hell of a pace.
either/or type of fight... be a real good one, if they fought four times, I could see two decisions a piece
you guys are retarded not only do you crazily underrate LaMotta, who was a tremendous middlewieght you also overrate McCallum to the most ridiculous degree imaginable my god, the level of opposition between the two is almost laughably in LaMotta's favor McCallum gets way more credit around here than he deserves who the fuck did McCallum box the shit out of? Randall Yonker? If LaMotta is so easy to beat, it means that Sugar Ray Robinson sucks, as do several dozen other guys who went life and death with LaMotta
I think Lamotta wins a close decision based on activity/effective aggression. Wouldn't lay money on this fight, though.
I don't see McCallum being affected by Lamotta's pressure and crowding attack. The guys that had success with McCallum were slick boxers or solid technicians. Personally I'd love to see this one over 15 rounds.
Fuck Jake Lamotta. Suddenly these days the dude has a defense like Pernell Whitaker among other attributes.
