Nope, was determined not to get caught up in any of it this time, went with gut instinct from the start and couldn't be more right
My cousin came over to watch the fight and when it was over looked at me like he couldn't believe it. Then he just left in disbelief. I was shocked he was shocked.
THE HYPE?? NO....I feel dumb because I thought he would at least TRY TO WIN the fight....even though he would get crush in the process...
Yeah i read that. Dont matter the outcome, because Gaye came out with some extra change. He showed us all huh sly? :atu:
What gave me that impression? That was the only way Haye can WIN....he was not going to outbox Wladimir, he was not going to put him away with 1 or 2 HAYMAKERS..he had to in there and make Wladimir fight. I fighter of Haye's speed should be able to fight in the inside and get out before Wladimir falls/leans on him....but inside was the last place Haye wanted to be.
I'm like Steve_Dave. Deep down I expected Haye to get easily out-boxed for 12 rounds, but I hoped for more. But someone help me out here... Did Haye really blame his poor performance on an injured toe that he apparently broke 3 weeks ago. And not even his big toe? A HW boxer conquered by a toe injury...... and a British boxer to boot.
I ended up unavoidably missing this, save the last couple of rounds - if anyone has a non-gigantic torrent or a link to where I can see the full fight please hook a fenian up.
Dont waste your time watching it., What you saw the last few rounds was the same shit that went on the whole fight. Wlad dominated.
Yeah, that's basically the only correct use of the word smart and David Haye. He made a lot of money. Props.
Haye had an excuse, in that Valuev was so much bigger, Haye was acclimatizing, Haye was new to the division, Valuev could have leaned on him etc......Haye showed me some commendable skills tonight - his head movement was great, his defence was not bad, he bloodied Wlad's nose and marked him up with some choice rights. But the cheating, the gamesmanship, the nonsense, was unforgivable.
