that fight went as i had expected. i can't really blame it on haye. there was no way he was gonna win and had he gone for broke like everyone wanted him to, he would've gotten KOed.

i can't believe how many folks thought this was gonna be a good fight. klitschko's boring and always has been and haye simply wasn't good enough to knock him out.

 

Haye did a great job imo. He could have beaten the pre-steward version of Wlad but not this Wlad. He hit Wlad with some very hard punches but Wlad took them well.

 

i bet the pre-Steward version knocks him out in 2 rounds

 

Klitschko walked forward all night looking for an exchange. We can't say he grabbed cos he didn't.....he brought out the bitch in Haye and he tried to make it a fight.

The pre-Steward version was indeed much more exciting. He threw tons of punches but he wasn't pacing himself. He is a much smarter fighter nowadays. Steward has turned him into Lennox Lewis 2.0.

There is a huge difference between avoiding punches and avoiding fighting. Wlad avoided punches. Haye did his best to avoid fighting all together.
