Didn't see today's latest hw fiasco ( knew it would be a bore, but never expected it to be that bad that it would be compared to Mosley ''performance'' in the Pac fight ), just a shame that 2 of the biggest hyped fight this year have been such a bore, especially considering all the great fights we had. Hw are just a mess, shit, even Haye was exciting at Cw but turned into quite the runner at hw vs non shot foes.

with Mosley we could just say, "well Mosley is done he had his time"
but this was Hayes first and probably last fight against a above average opponent

Mosley's 40 and the illusion of the Margarito fight is the only reason he wasn't retired already.

He's paid his dues 100 times over compared to most already.

Haye is supposed to be in his prime and talked more shit then Ricardo Mayorga. At least Mayorga went out on his shield when he talked shit............Haye was just..................................shit.

 

I don't think HBo should ever show a Haye fight again. Thatbfight IMO was the worst disgrace of a performance than I can remember.
Shane's was really bad and embarrassing but this one IMO is the worst

 

I'd say Shane's last performance. Shane did NOTHING. Haye's performance was a disgrace too...but that's how everyone ends up fighting Wladamir...maybe Wladamir forces that kind of fight. I could be wrong...and not sure it matters which one was worth because they were both bad.

 

Mayorga at least comes to back up his trash talk and tries to knock out his opponents. He just doesn't have the talent.

 

Haye also talked soooo much shit, & then bitched out.
SSM wanted to quit in his corner though. That's gotta count against him.

This enhances Sam Peter legacy. You should all be doing some Peter Gazing right now. At least Sam came to fight. Sam floored Wlad. Sam won more rounds than Gaye. 3 to be precise.

 

Haye. Not only was Shane old, Pacquiao is A LOT better than Wlad.

 

Wlad has served his purpose against certain angles of hatred that have nothing to do with boxing, he's watched too much Rocky and prospered, but when it comes to actually watching him fight, ....surely you've had it? Aint the pawing, posturing, monotonous shit getting on your nerves a bit?...

Seriously Irishman,.. I've wanted Haye cut down and embarrased for some time now,..and it's a delight to read 'the Guardian' with a massive blown up picture of Haye's toe at the top of the article post-fight, but I wouldn't dare watch this,..or any of Wlad's fights ever again, he's a grapes worth of malignant tumors to the iris,...and you.....well know it.

 

I agree.....but also he showed me some new stuff last night, with the ability to keep Haye off balance, introduce that "check hook", and generally figure Haye out and expose him for the fool he is. A lot of guys being made to miss would have gotten flustered. Physically, he has regressed, mentally, he has improved.

Anyways, that's why we keep the big V around.

Haye didn't give up like Shane did. Come on. Haye was always trying to win...problem is...he was waiting for a Wlad mistake instead of taking too many risks to get to Wlad's chin and letting his hands go. But make no mistake Haye was trying to win all the way to the last bell. Shane just wanted to survive.

Haye and Mosley are both cheats. The difference is that Mosley was a ballsy old cheat who had a great career and Haye is a cunt.

Vitali is good for the division,..throws every type of punch, can fight going forwards or backwards and throws alot of punches and that's what I mean,.. Mosley couldn't even stand in with Forrest without getting his brains knocked out. Haye showed world-class head-movement and short range D. He deserves credit for that and the matter should not be obfuscated by the fact that he also cheated. Wlad couldn't hit him cleanly at times, but Forrest could find Mosley all night. That said, Mosley was clearly the better fighter, but Haye is not "nutless" either.

 

Did he ever actually throw a "check hook"? I know Steward was pleading with him to do so all night.

 

I do wish Vitali of a couple years ago was in there with Haye last night. It may be too late for him now, but not long ago he would have been able to cut off the ring against Haye, walk right through Haye's punches and put him in a coma, after trapping him on the ropes.

The ironic thing about the brothers Klit, is Wlad always showed the most balls in picking his opponents (outside of Vitali/Lennox), but Vitali always showed the most balls when he was actually in the ring with somebody.

Can you imagine Vitali getting more and more agitated, watching Haye flop around like he was? He would have "accidently"...............but conveniently left his boot print on Haye's forehead by the 4th or 5th flop.

 

Well, Peter (for his comeback fight for the title), Gomez, Arreola, Johnson and Solis were no cherries, - Briggs and Sosnowski were shit ofcourse, but so were Wlad's fights against completely shot Rahman or completely shot Peter rematch,.. I don't think Vitali shows less balls in regards to opponent choice really,... he now fights a juiced up Adamek in a few months,.. that's about the next best available,.. while a few of the other contenders like Povetkin or Boytsov are being kept safely, safely away ofcourse.
