There won't be any rematch. For openers, it won't make the money the first one did. Secondly, Haye has to earn it. He barely earned the first. He needs to earn the second. Wlad won't be Unified WBA/IBO/IBF/WBO champ for long. He'll miss a mandatory and then there will be a new champ. Haye can knock out that new champ, or be that new champ......and then he will start to ask again for a rematch, but he needs to take his show on the road. Haye knows he can't win consecutive fights against live bodies. He's not dedicated enough, the odds of losing or looking shit increase with every fight. He has used his wildcard, his "shock and awe" tactic of blagging his way into a big fight, now he needs to go earn the right for a Re.

 

I was going to ask what you thought about all this rematch business or whether he should just leave it now!

The purse is supposed to be better though, its supposed to match his bag.

Saw a bit of this fight. Steve Dave has it right. If you Brits see Haye at the local pub, just walk right up and put your dick right in his beer.

Sly probably is fond of Haye along ethnic lines, but that alone wouldn't shift the fact that Sly is as disliking of Hayes bolshy behaviour as much as the next man.

 

Haye got made into a bitch and all he could do was survive. Nothing impressive about that.

 

On another note, I looked at some forums after the fight to see people's reactions and to see how much people were making fun of Haye. I checked Sherdog, who has a fairly large boxing forum and there were plenty of people who actually thought Haye could have won the decision. I was in utter shock.

 

At least Haye tried to make a fight of it. Wlad fought like a big pussy.
