Injured shoulders and broken hands are anomalies. Cuts and cracked ribs aren't.

By that very logic, Roy Jones' knockout over Virgil Hill was inconclusive.

The doctor also was black. Why else would he stop the fight so that the black man could win? He didn't even tell Vitali he was stopping the fight. He just stopped it. No warning, nothing. And Vitali haters and Lewis fans are totally cool with it. They knew that was a close one. Wiping their foreheads in relief.

He was also old, fat and had already publicly contemplated retirement long before even signing off to fight Vitali.

Vitali is older than Lewis is now. Wlad is almost as old today as Lewis was in that fight. Lewis talked massive sh*t about the Klitschkos. You know he did. I recorded that stuff from ESPN and all the hype. Lewis' spirit got broken that night. He could've taken that rematch. Nothing stopped him. And he wasn't that fat. He was 256lbs, usually 250ish was his prime weight.

I personally think the tactical aspect was a much bigger part of it. When did Lennox ever follow a bigger man around the ring? When did he ever have to prepare to do that? Lennox was the only fighter that was forced to change his gameplan due to the switch in opponents.

Lewis didn't like Vitali. He still doesn't. He hates Vitali actually. He wanted to bury the guy, that's why he was unloading haymakers, trying to demolish him ala Wlad/Sanders. LOL!

On a note of reality, I do know that George Foreman openly came out pre-match and said he would come out of retirement and fight Klitshcko if Lewis were to lose the fight.

Foreman would've suffered a worse beating than Shannon Briggs. LOL!

 at the shit in this thread.

    Its the old reliable.

Start a Mike Tyson thread and the "Mike vs Ali" and "Who hit harder, Mike or Foreman" shit will eventually start. Guaranteed.

Same here. Some fine day I will pick up a "Lonely Planet" guide to Kiev and the first words in it will be "that fight was stopped early....make sure you visit St Sophia's".

i'd say that cuts are usually fluke occurence. but the klithcko have such paper skin, that i think Lewis would always cause them facial damage

His best win is Holyfield, whos a much greater fighter than Vitaly.

Is most impressive victory was Ruddock

Lewis retired cause he didn't want a Vitali rematch. Look at all the sh*t talking Lewis did about Vitali's quit job against Byrd prior. LOL! Lewis wanted to fight Roy Jones too. Talking sh*t about how he'd rip the 'S' off Jones' chest and sh*t.

So what? When you got a big f*cking mouth and talking sh*t about people being quitters, you gotta back it up. Lewis took the back door and got the f*ck out rather than risk losing to a white dude.

Prime Vitali beats prime Holyfield most of the time. Holyfield went 0-3 with Bowe (imo), got a fortunate decision against Qawi, lost to Moorer, got knocked down by Cooper, got his ass handed to him by Lewis twice and then went life and death with John Ruiz.

Holyfield has five performances that indicate that he was a decent heavy...the bowe fights and the tyson fights, and he lost two of the five.

Vitali, otoh, is a win machine whose only losses were due to fluke injuries rather than being outfought. His opponents have been unable to establish just how good they are because Vitali and Wlad haven't let them.

I think Vitali is Lennox's best win because I think he was the best opponent who Lennox beat and while I don't think it was a conclusive win, it was a legitimate win. I agree with a lot of the arguments for other fights, but I just think the Vitali win was the best.

To my knowledge, no one has ever been the best in their division and beaten the future best in their division and then retired. Except Lewis.

Lewis fucked up American heavyweights because he had superior Jamaican genetics,.. you've only got to look at the track these days to see the difference between american genetics and Jamaican genetics,..

It's a tale of two birds really and the damage has been done, white and black americans have mixed up too much and have dragged each other down to inferior levels,.. you've got to be pure Slav, or pure West-african jamaican to make it in heavyweight boxing,.. not the shitty shades of grey we see being humiliated every weekend... :crafty:

Lewis was a pure breed, the Klitschko's are pure breeds,.. and Americans are genetically mixed, you whitey blacky syrups drag one another down, absolute inferiors.

Ahhh,.. but if you are an eastern-band or east-coast Irishman,.. I'm afraid you'd be mixed-saxon nordic trash,...BUT if you are from the west or south,.. well that's just lovely. But I'm afraid being Irish is a terrible detriment regardless..because western-european, German or Jew... is possibly the weakest 3 single ethnic people in Europe,.. mix that up and it makes it even WORSE....it's no wonder why american boxing is fucked.

Sligo, Kerry, Monaghan, Leinster, Dublin... mix of different things

All boxing is pretty much fucked, everywhere

I enjoy being Irish, I don't see what it has to do with the state of WORLD boxing
