I was rooting for Paul but he didn't come close to winning that fight.

Wow.. Worst Robbery I've ever witnessed.. All I can give P.Will was 2 or maybe 3 rounds. Lara clearly won this fight with ease.. This is bad for boxing for real..

 

Whats sad is, this would be a GREAT night of boxing if Lara didnt get robbed.

You woulda had two young, undefeated fighters having coming out parties.

As it is..... Rios electrifying performance gets overshadowed by this sham decision.

Thought HBO was more over-dramatic then usual tonight.

You'd have thought this was Robinson / LaMotta, St. Valentines Day Massacre, the way they were talking about the beating Tall Paul was taking.

If you were just listening to the audio, you would have thought Lara was curb-stomping Tall Paul, American X style.

 

HBO WAS being over-dramatic. Lara didnt dish out a terrible beating on Tall Paul.

But...... he none the less dished out a comprehensive boxing lesson, and TP at the VERY MOST won 4 rounds.

9-3, 10-2 is more realistic.

Absurd robbery.

 

I went to bed with 1 min left in the 12th thinking Lara had the fight in his pocket. At the very worst he won 8-4. It wasnt one of these close but clear decision, it was a wide decision. Boxing is in a shitty state and it cant help shooting itself in the foot.

 

Lara needs to fight in Europe if he wants the protection he deserves.
