Trying to get himself committed, there is no low he won't stoop to to avoid the Pacquiao fight.

Don't be too sure. Knowing Floyd they were probably counterfeit bills. Don't worry, Floyd's real money is safely tucked away in his dresser drawers.

He was always an arsehole,.. but at one time you cared more about his accomplishments in the ring, and nothing outside of it. But it seemed to insidiously eat away at you to the point where you reneged on an oathe you swore to yourself,... most distressing was the revelation you hated him more than ever the day he introduced a fair and reasonable safety-net into his fights.

Not at all. I have a much bigger problem with his competition over the years then I do with his defensive prowess. If he fought all the guys he should have and beat them with a safety first approach, then so what, at least he fought them.

    It's a stupid law.

I like the comments......."He could have fed a hungry child with that $100!"

Big deal, he could have also spent it on a pair of silk boxer shorts or (100) 50Cent Cd's on warehouse closeout. Is that any better then just burning it?

But Oscar, Hatton and Mosely were all credible opponents in comparison to the opponents he was fighting at the heights of your respect for him,.. thus it is reasonable to suggest another option inflated your venomous satchells,.. namely out of ring antics (a reneged oathe) ...or ...stringent drug testing measures. :nono:

At the time those fights happened none of them were considered a first choice for Floyd to prove himself in my eyes. I'm sure you already know that but once again you wish to draw me and others into your old pet peeve debate issue "the dreaded safety first style."

Sorry my friend I'm not going to bite on that one. I agree with you to a point, but as usual you argue your point in a black and white mindset and I see it a lot greyer than that.

And that was where the information was initially collected, you defended the illegal forms of the shoulder-roll defence, and even dismissed his personality as having nothing to do with what he does in the ring,...... 'something happenned' ... to have turned you into what I allegedly was,.. 'a blind hater' ..

As to the black and white mindset,...:nono: Your opinions seem very WHITE these days to be honest, ....you've been oppressively conformed like REED. ( :crafty: )

I'm sure the FED already watched that video and printed up a few more bills to filter back into the economy through illegal dog fights and soft serve ice cream start ups.

Show me in the rule book where shoulder rolling is illegal and I'll agree with you. See this is why I say you have a black and white view. If turning your back to your opponent is illegal then I say fine. However, if you turn your back to your opponent for a split second during an evasive defensive maneuver and your opponent is never docked a point or given a warning for hitting you in the back, then I don't see the maneuver as illegal. It's a grey area not a black one.

If it was the problem you make it out to be commentators would be talking about it, the rule would get rewrote, and the ref would actually be taking points or at least given warnings to one of the fighters. Instead all we have is you on this ridiculous campaign that I've always viewed as Hanzesque in that it screams you have a need for attention or just something to rail against.

Also I'm not a blind Floyd hater, I don't hate the guy I hate that he has no desire to prove himself, which is also more of a grey area when it comes to hate. No surprise you would see that as a black and white issue as well since that seems to be how you view the world.

You're still my boy though Kauki, warts and all.

You cannot hit below the belt, hold, trip, kick, headbutt, wrestle, bite, spit on, or push your opponent.
You cannot hit with your head, shoulder, forearm, or elbow.
You cannot hit with an open glove, the inside of the glove, the wrist, the backhand, or the side of the hand.
You cannot punch your opponent's back, or the back of his head or neck (rabbit punch), or on the kidneys (kidney punch). You cannot throw a punch while holding on to the ropes to gain leverage.
You can't hold your opponent and hit him at the same time, or duck so low that your head is below your opponent's belt line.
When the referee breaks you from a clinch, you have to take a full step back; you cannot immediately hit your opponent--that's called "hitting on the break" and is illegal.
You cannot spit out your mouthpiece on purpose to get a rest.
If you score a knockdown of your opponent, you must go to the farthest neutral corner while the referee makes the count.
If you "floor" your opponent, you cannot hit him when he's on the canvas.
A floored boxer has up to ten seconds to get back up on his feet before losing the bout by knockout.
A boxer who is knocked down cannot be saved by the bell in any round, depending upon the local jurisdiction's rules.
A boxer who is hit with an accidental low blow has up to five minutes to recover. If s/he cannot continue after five minutes, s/he is considered knocked out.
If the foul results in an injury that causes the fight to end immediately, the boxer who committed the foul is disqualified.
If the foul causes an injury but the bout continues, the referee orders the judges to deduct two points from the boxer who caused the injury.
If an unintentional foul causes the bout to be stopped immediately, the bout is ruled a "no contest" if four rounds have not been fully completed. (If the bout was scheduled for four rounds, then three rounds must have been completed.) If four rounds have been completed, the judges' scorecards are tallied and the fighter who is ahead on points is awarded a technical decision. If the scores are even, it will be called a "technical draw."
If a boxer is knocked out of the ring, he gets a count of 20 to get back in and on his feet. He cannot be assisted.
In some jurisdictions the standing eight-count or the three knockdown rule also may be in effect.
In other jurisdictions, only the referee can stop the bout.

^ The turning of the back has to be reverse compatable with this rule,.. and the second highlight illustrates the final sequence of Floyd's shoulder-roll apparatus,.. 'Twist & fold' ...

To your analysis of crying for attention,.. well, I guess I don't mind a reply, it is a forum afterall.

Floyd continually proves how ignorant he is.

I can't WAIT until he's crying about his tax troubles...I'm going to enjoy it. The IRS has a LONG memory...they haunted Joe Louis his entire life.

When Floyd said, "I pay my taxes when I feel like paying them" you just know the collective dicks of IRS agents across the country got hard. They're laying in wait for him. Just watch.

Also, for FloydIdiots who think he didn't say that he did in fact say that either just prior to or at the post-fight press conference for the Marquez fight.

Yes Floyd is ignorant, irresponsible, immature, possibly criminal, maybe headed for poverty.....

...but last time I checked this was a boxing forum and in that regard:

    He's the best! :kidcool:

    To paraphrase Max Kellerman:

"P4P isn't a deserves game. Yes Trinidad and Mosley have fought the big fights but if I said I believe any fighter is better than Roy Jones I'd be lying"

Same with Floyd re Pac. Pac has stayed busy and beat up a few top names...but Floyd is the best fighter in the game.

    It wasn't '$100 bills"; it was a $100 bill.

So, for $100, Floyd got more press than Cornelius Bundrage did for winning a title and continues to stay in the boxing public's collective conscience one more day.

As Charlie Sheen would say, Floyd is WINNING.
