There is more than one video of him burning a $100 bill. So that means its Bills. So far there are two different videos of floyd at two different parties burning the money. And i doubt that he just burned one bill per party. It looks like something he has/is doing regularly throughout the night and at multiple parties.

Floyd hasnt even fought the best fighters in his division. How does that make him the best?

    Hmm..let's evaluate this situation.

Here you have a dude that's worth in excess of $50 million (one would assume) burning the odd $100 bill at various parties over the years.

Yup...dude will be poor in no time.

Last I checked the two best guys in the division were Mayweather and Pacquiao. Since they haven't fought each other they are cancelled out.

I do recall, however, that Mosley at the time Floyd fought him was considerd the best guy in the division not named Pacquiao. Afterall Mosley had a legitimate belt and had destroyed Mayorga and Margarito..who had himself destroyed Cotto and Cintron.

I also recall that Floyd won the linear and undisputed title prior to that (and hasn't been beaten since) by beating Zab and Baldomir...significant not because of their perceived abilities but because they were the last two guys to hold the linear and undisputed crowns.

So I disagree...aside from Pac, Floyd has fought the best in the division. And as I implied before...if you hold Pac against Floyd, by the same token you have to hold Floyd against Pac.

I would have thought you'd know by now just how quickly a black athlete can burn through $50 million. Boxing, NFL, etc. It's not a big deal. He'll go through 50 mill within a couple years.

Sure, but not by burning the odd $100 bill at the occasional party.

Pac's Fought Dela, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarita & Sugar Shane...Floyd's Beaten Dela, Hatton, Marquez & Sugar Shane...w/the LONE Exception of Marquez, Pac's Beaten their Common Opponents MORE Impressively...

He's Also Beaten Margarita & Cotto, who were the 2 BEST Guys in the Division After Floyd's 1st Lame Ass "Retirement"....

Pac's Doing Better (ie., Doing MORE) within the Same Division & Should RIGHTFULLY B Rated HIGHER...

If he's burning $100 bills, that obviously shows how he's treating all his other money, Sly. You saw the video where he's counting 1 million dollars and he's got it stacked away in his closet. Black athletes tend to go broke quickly. Come easy...go easy.
19 out of 20 black boxers goes broke. Just how it is.:dunno:

The fights were there for Floyd. He just didn't want them and opted to retire or take easier opposition. And his win over De La Hoya was very unimpressive.

I don't disagree, but do you think Pac is the better fighter (than Floyd)? I don't.

Being the best isn't a "deserves" game.

It's a "prove it" game, and Pac is doing more proving in the last several years. So what does that say?

Floyd has already proven how good he is. Y'all are acting as though Floyd is a talented up and comer with potential that needs a true test to see what he's made of.

    Floyd has beaten:

the speedy slick southpaw with power
The future HOF'er with speed, power, boxing skills, chin, heart and a size advantage over him
The tough mexican with solid chin and known body punching prowess
The powerful, tall fighter, with crippling inside hooks
    The consumate counter puncher
    The consumate grappler/bruiser

Floyd is proven.....and therefore, until beaten, he's the best.

He actually weighed less in the ring than he did at the weigh-in.. 148 on fight night, for a 154 lb title fight

Floyd would have been a fuckin' idiot not to take that fight, with the payday involved.

I rooted for Floyd in that fight.

So, can't fault him for taking the fight, but in hindsight, it does virtually nothing for his legacy or standing in the Welterweight division.

Do you remeber when you were accused of doing this fighter a beat fighter b so is clearly superior to fighter c bullshit yesterday? Here is another clear example.

I'm not saying he's not proven in his career as a whole, I'm strictly talking about welterweight.

    No it isn't.

I didn't say Floyd beat Mosley who beat Margarito therefore Floyd beats Margarito.

I said that Mosley was considered the best guy in the division on account of beating Margarito..who had beaten Cotto and Cintron. In other words...neither Cotto, Margarito or Cintron were considered the best at that time as a result of those fights.

If you want to suggest a "clear example" at least understand what an example is.

So this is all about him not fighting Margarito or Cotto?

Fighting and beating De la Hoya at 154lbs doesn't prove how good Floyd was at Welterweight?

You must have some stupid people that you hang around with if you think you can pull off your bullshit here sly.

    He fought mosley? Wow.

Why didnt he fight Cotto when he had the belt? Why didnt he fight Margarito when he had the belt? Why not williams when he had the belt? Hell why not cintron when he has the belt?

Its all good tho right? Cause he fought Mosley & Baldy.

    PBF. The best. :shit:
