Given Khan's style, I think Zab has an EXCELLENT chance of stretching him within 6. Zab will DEFINITELY land his left hand at some point, when he does.... hows that glass attatched to Khan's head gonna react? Granted.... I'm not positive. Zab is older, and his timing and speed arent what they once were. But he still is fast, and he still has power.
I'd like to see Zab win....would be great to see him come full circle. I don't see him winning a decision though. Khoward will be on his bike jabbing, looking to stay out of harms way. By the mid rounds Zab will be stalking looking to counter, Khoward will throw meaningless flurries looking to steal a decision.
interested why you would call the guy a coward? i thought he won a pretty gutsy fight over maidana his last time out
I do. I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict Judah by KO.. that left uppercut is going to spell all kinds of trouble for Khan.
How does that fight look in retrospect after Maidana struggled with an ancient Morales? Not as good I would say.
so he's a coward eh? Maybe i should rewatch the match, he certainly retreated in the later rounds as Maidana came on but I thought he edged out a tough gritty win.
I don't think it's fair to call Khan's chin glass, given what he absorbed against Maidana. And his right-hand will be a problem for Zab. I'll be rooting for Zab, but I can't confidently pick him to win.
I suppose. To me that's really just trying to find some way to diminish a quality win. Maidana still is the guy that KO'd V/Ortiz, no? Still a tough fighter. Is it possible we all took Morales for granted as an easy win? Maybe even Maidana did as well.
i'd be happy to be wrong and would love an upset here, but i just dont see it. i think khan punishes zab.
I'm rooting HEAVILY for Zab in this fight and he's certainly a live underdog. But I think it's Khan time. Best result wouldbe for Zab to render him unconcious though.
no...fuck Khan. Dude gets knocked out in one round and then gets an immediate shot at a shot Barrera? Fuck him...and all Frank Warren fighters!
A shot at Barrera? Like he was some kind of champ at the time? Like it's a big prize to fight old ass MAB. He also had a fight between the KO loss and the MAB fight.
I don't think much of Khan at all, he's overhyped as anyone in the sport, but U still think he wins a decision. Judah is too old and inactive with his hands. He was a better fighter than Khan but I don't think this is the case in 2011. Although I think the odds are pretty good for a Judah bet at +350 or around there.
:laugh11:this might hold some weight if he wasnt facing a guy who lost to an argentine heavybag and still got a multi million dollar payday his very next fight.
I'm with you and I hope Zab absolutely HAMMERS this clown. I don't want him to just win a decision or nothing. I want him to stretch this fraud. And given Khan's style and flaws, Judah is pretty live I would say. But it depends on Zab. Sometimes he just refuses to show up.
Zab Judah should put up a good fighgt. I think he has matured and still has some left in the tank. His trainer Pernell Whitaker probably keeps him in line (coke pun by all means intended)
Like puerto rock alluded to, the problem with Zab is that you never know which Zab is going to show up. The one that showed up in the early goings against Mayweather Jr or iced Cory Spinks easily stops Khan. The one that fell apart against Baldomir might get stopped by Khan. Come to think of it, Khan has a pretty good straight right. If Judah steps straight back with his hands down against Khan like he did against Tszyu, well..
That's absurd. Khowards balance and footwork is shit. half the time he throws a right hand his body gets ahead of his feet (ala Paul Williams).
He's certainly no Kostya Tszyu, but especially at this point in Zab's career, he doesn't have to be. The comparison to Paul Williams is off the mark, he actually is capable of throwing the right fast, hard and with authority.
