  2. Ruddock vs Riddick

I've often salivated over this matchup.

In hindsight most would pick Riddick on account of what Lennox did to him then, thinking that Riddick could have done the same or even better.

    I dunno.

At the time I would have picked Ruddock without any hestitation whatsoever.

Both men capable of hurting the other..but at the time I suspected that Ruddock was tougher.

How did Bowe manage to get rated so highly at Heavyweightwihtout fighting Ruddock Tyson or Lewis? The only big banger I remember Riddick facing was the otherwise inept Bert Cooper. Bowe never even had to fight Moorer or Morrison.

Golota was the first dangerous fighter he faced and we all know how that turned out. Riddick perhaps had the shrewdest management in history. Very SUBTLEY protected fighter...

Bowe survives getting badly hurt a few times, and stops Ruddock late.

Considering they're two wide-open guys with massive power, but one does virtually everything better than the other?

    Bowe stops Ruddock.

    worst commentator ever

    its not even close

    I hate the guy

The only good thing I would ever say about him is that he had the foresight to see what the rest of Ali's clan didn't want to see... the man was hurt and deteriorating rapidly.... he put his money where his mouth was and resigned his position... for that, he should be commended

for everything else that has ever escaped his fat mouth, he should be pummelled

BTW, Bowe wins this pretty much the way X said

  9. It's possible, but I just never trusted Bowe's chin and heart against a big punch from a man his size.

I remember Pacheco saying during a Ricardo Lopez figit people mistaking him for Larry Merchant.

"Goodness me, it was probably the low point of my life."

    LOL.

Funny, but from a boxing standpoint, Merchant is like Eddie Futch compared to that fucking idiot
