The Amittyville Horror(the original) is a scary ass movie that freaks me out even today. The Shining scared the SHIT outta me as a kid. I can watch it now, but still find it scary. Recently..... Paranormal Activity was scary. Waaayyyy more scary than Insidious. The Strangers is another recent horror movie thats pretty scary. Definitely the type of movie that'll have you checking your locks at night.
seen. I'm easy to scare when it comes to horrors. I agree on Amityville horror. Terrifying shit. The Shining was definitely pretty bad as a kid, but nowadays it's not scary in the least. Just a good film. I have to check out paranormal activity..although I'll probably regret doing so afterwards.
I thought it was kind of scary but it actually had the potential to be a whole lot scarier. If they'd made the little red and black dude look less like a Japanese demon and more like maybe a zombie or half decayed thingy, or even just a damn American style demon it could have been scarier.
So what was possessed exactly (because I'm not going to watch it). The promotion says that it wasn't the house that was haunted.
