Does Rios discourage Camacho just like Rosario did

Overrated or not, I don't think there's any question that Rios would be way out of his league here.

    definitely true

he was a front runner and a chickenshit

Camacho is overrated to an extent but still..... he'd outbox Bam Bam by a clear margin.

based on what I've seen, I'm inclined to agree... If Rios were a bit more polished as a puncher, he'd be able to get to Camacho to start the chickenshit business, but I think he's too crude for that

Its no guarantee that Rios would beat JL Ramirez.

    And I'm a Rios fan.

The talent pool is so much LESS today than it was in the 80's, that I'd definitely favor prime Camacho over anyone from 130-140 right now. His toughest matchup would be Bradley.

He'd beat ALexander, Con, and Maidana rather easily.

    Marquez would beat him.

    Perhaps a younger, sharper Marquez.

    Certainly not THIS Marquez.

The current version of Marquez? No fucking way. I wouldn't bet on a prime Marquez to do it, either.

    agree completely

and I think Ramirez would beat Rios, frankly

Rios applies the kind of pressure, and gets close enough, "before" he punches, and switches up his timing well enough, and throws creative combinations, and has a good chin, and good stamina, such that he'd get to Camacho consistently enough to win a decision.

    Rios would be pretty lost.

i still say camacho is over rated on this forum. the way rios looked on saturday i doubt he could beat hector lopez. at 140lbs a more comfortable rios wouldnt be outclassed by camacho.

I can't Rios beating an anywhere near prime Camacho at any weight. He's just too slow on his feet.
