Not sure 100% on the venue, but most likely will be Las Vegas.

It's being held in Atlantic City isn't it? I'm sure that was announced earlier this week

Isn't that also what Carl Froch himself stated on twitter earlier this week?

Joony, are you watching from home? If so watch them both at the same time, I do if often :kidcool:

I'll begrudgingly pick Ward 7 to 5, but damn I hope Frock gives him the beatdown.

ward vs. froch will be in AC, so i was thinking about going. and my birthday's around the same time, so i was asked by friends to fly to vegas and see gsp vs. diaz. only difference is, i'd get a credential for boxing, but not ufc. still, it would be cool to go see ufc 137.

Ward vs. Froch in Atlantic City...? YES that makes perfect sense....one of the most important fights of 2011 held in front of crowd that don't give a fuck about either fighter.....

froch vs. johnson was also in AC. they had zsolt erdei on the undercard. a big portion of the crowd were from hungary and england.

ward's not even a real draw in his own backyard. plus, i doubt they'll do this fight at the main boardwalk arena. they'll probably do it in the small ballroom upstairs like they did w/ froch vs. johnson.

I got Ward on a 7-5 type decision but Froch is very live and he can test that chin.

I'll pick Froch in an upset, simply because I've grown rather fond of the fighting farmer and a win here cements his place as one of Britain's best ever fighters.

Ward will win this easy. Froch's only chance is to land something huge and knock Ward out, but I don't see that happening.

    Ward 10-2 in rounds.

The Thing about Froch is that he will ALWAYS B Making an Effort to WIN the Fight...Even if he's LOSING Round After Round After Round, he'll B MAKING Ward WORK...Froch's WILL to WIN is Probably his STRONGEST Asset...

This WON'T B a Looooooooong Boring Fight that's Basically Decided After the 1st Couple Rounds...

I REALLY hope Froch wins, but Ward UD for me. Ward is one of those guys I fucking hate to watch, but credit where it's due he is very, very good. Gotta go for effectiveness over excitement I'm afraid. However, Froch has proven me wrong time and time again in his career, and I hope he does it once more on this occasion.

    I hope Froch wins....

I can't stand Ward style..he is boring....but as a human being he seems to be one of the better ones in boxing...believe in his god but doesn't pushes it, cares about his family and community...very grounded...

Are you out of your mind? He pushes it more than anyone else in boxing, more than every other fighter combined.

After almost every fight, the interview is 50% jesus freak stuff, it's sickening.

I also think he's fake, something about him isn't right, I have a feeling he's not the nice guy he pretends to be. I just get bad vibes from him.

As a fighter he's legit, obviously. Ugly and dirty and fairly boring, but he can fight, no question.

    Nah....

Evander Holyfield was a Guy that PUSHED his Religion on People...Prince Naseem Hamed was a Guy that PUSHED his Religion on Peopl...Ward ISN'T on THAT Level of Religious Pushiness...

Agreed, he's not QUITE on that level, but he bangs on about it after nearly every fight, and a LOT too, enough to warrant jesus freak status. More than is comfortable to listen to if you're not a Christian, put it that way.

And still more than any other active fighter.

I think Ward outboxes him in what will be Ward's best performance to date.

I like Froch he is a very funny character. But he is too basic to beat Ward. Unless he lands something crazy he will be outboxed.
