Caligula, can you see Beckford improving on his goal tally next season?

Alexis Sanchez is now OFFICIALLY a Barcelona player. Udinese and Barca sealed the deal today for a fee off 26 million, with 11 million more in variables... Slick piece of business by Guardiola there considering the silly money clubs demand today for their players. Sanchez adds to an attack that already has Messi, Villa, and Pedro... Now they need to seal the Cesc Fabregas deal already.

Huge fan of Jagielka, quality quality player. At least Arsene is trying to address the right positions. I'm pretty sure the Enrique will get done and a CB, just not sure who yet. Mata up in the air, don't think Arsene will splash the cash for him unless Fabregas goes.

Feebs do you rate Enrique? I was very impressed with him last season, but didn't reaaly see a lot of him.

I don't think we'll deal unless a bid for Jagielka hits at least £18 million. He's a pure CB, and is the type who brings out the best in the guy next to him: Yobo, Lescott, Distin etc.

Seems a good pro too - not likely to get ideas above his station, or disrupt the dressing room.

This may be my final XI for my fantasy football team. I believe these players will get me alot of goals.

    Howard,

    Terry, Bardsley, Johnson (Wolves), Baines,
    Bale, Walcott, Downing,
    Rooney, D Bent, Beckford

Also a huge fan, that's why I was even more disappointed to hear that Arsene(al) offered an even lower big for Jagielka than they did previously. Is this what we call "trying to address the right positions" making low bids on quality players that are sure to be rejected?

i agree i think Enrique gets done as well. Personally i rate Enrique pretty highly, but haven't seen much of Mata.

I don't do dream teams but Faurlin would definitely be a good choice to add

I put Terry in because he's consistent and i really want the title lol.

Faurlin would be a great addition to a fantasy team, definitely, as would Derry imo.

Don't forget lads, I won it last year for the second time despite refusing to select Man Utd players.

    That's what you're up against

    Bring it.

I think you are my hero.

Being serious too. I lose in almost allll fantasy sports because i refuse to pick certain rival players and I am not good enough to pick the right guys under those handicaps

    Hopefully.

Truthfully, in any sport, I have never cared about anyone's individual stats, I just want my team to WIN!

But when Everton got off to such a slow start last season it was because the strikers were non-existent. So I'd like to see Beckford pick it up.

    Taarabt staying with QPR.

Fantastic news, but adel has come out saying he is very disappointed in not joining PSG.

I hope his disappointment in not leaving does not effect his football.

Missed the game through work today, but if the slurred rhapsody the lad on Trongate gave me is accurate the performance proves we'll win this league by 25 points.

Great goal by Stokes. Looks like about 23 Hibs fans bothered to show up. Stokies da' hates the Queen, Stoksie's da' hates the queen!

Great goal by Ki. Celtic end full obviously. Lennon lifting the league trophy will be the greatest moment in Celtic history since stopping the ten.

i have always liked Bendtner, altho never rated him quite that highly. it was time for him to go when he couldn't bury that shot against Barca in the second leg.

I'd have Bendtner in an instant. We need an arrogant striker.

    Sort it Kenwrong.
