I'm sure Mosley looked like a killer in the gym before facing Pacquiao.

 

He looks old and deflated to me,he let himself go during the down time.

Mayweather picked him, sure. But saying a fighter is "hand-picked" has the connotation that he is an unworthy opponent. Ortiz is no way an unworthy opponent.

with that logic though, no one outside of Pacquiao has any business being in the ring with mayweather. So in the absence of the Pacquiao fight you are basically saying that he should remain inactive.
