Floyd Mayweather Jr. is training at the Mayweather Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada, as he prepares for his upcoming fight with WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, which is scheduled for September 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather returns for the first time since last May's decision win over Shane Mosley. Photos by Chris Cozzone.

    he looks the same

  5. you can't tell from gym work.

I'm sure Mosley looked like a killer in the gym before facing Pacquiao.

He looks old and deflated to me,he let himself go during the down time.

    Looks the same to me.

Everyone looks great in the gym, though. The ring is always the test.

But I do think he should beat Ortiz though.

I have seen this same training 10 times already.

Yup, it's the same old sh*t time and again. Against another HANDPICKED opponent as always.

Looks like he doesn't have it anymore.

  14. "handpicked" :atu:

  15. we can't tell yet. I do have a bad feeling though...keep thinking about Jones-Tarver 2 :crying:

Why is that funny? He has handpicked all of his recent opponents.

    Ortiz is, "hand-picked."

  18. Mayweather picked him, sure. But saying a fighter is "hand-picked" has the connotation that he is an unworthy opponent. Ortiz is no way an unworthy opponent.

  19. Hanz

    Hanz Roberto Duran

He's an unworthy opponent because you, me and everybody else on FightBeat KNOWS that Ortiz has NO business being in the same ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr! It's that simple Sly...it's just that simple. :dunno:

ortiz's chances of knocking mayweather jr. out are far greater than your chances of fornicating with an attractive female.

  21. with that logic though, no one outside of Pacquiao has any business being in the ring with mayweather. So in the absence of the Pacquiao fight you are basically saying that he should remain inactive.

  22. word.

Those are two seperate issues. Staying active doesnt mean that everyone you fight is worthy.

    Be real sly.

    Bum of the month anyone?

What would you know about an attractive female Niel? Most of your time is spent ramming your penis in and out of the hole in the mouth of your Floyd Mayweather poster.

  25. But that's my point. Ortiz isn't a "bum of the month" candidate. He's a decent challenge: Hungry, in his prime, fast, powerful, Hold a belt, and beat an undefeated Andre Berto.

    Get real.

  26. Yeah but that's what you do with your LOK poster.

LOK told me via pm that he only "bulled" you once, since you were begging for it, but wont do it again due to the hellacious stench that occurred during that activity...

You're defending Niel even after he took a personal stab at you in your other thread a few days ago with the horse comment? You're taking his side over your best buddy? LOL!
    Come on Sly.

  28. I'm not defending Neil. i would never do such a thing. I'm just saying that you're in no position to accuse anyone of sick twisted behaviour.
