I dont know what to say. It was a pathetic performance by Judah. I really thought he had a chance early.

His style might infuriate the purists but Khan is now a very effective fighter, like it or not, and is going to prove very difficult to beat for quite a few good fighters

He's like a mini version of Holyfield, which makes him a VERY good fighter. Obviously not as good as Holy, and the lack of power is a big deal at elite level, but he's legit.

I still favour him (slightly) to beat Khan, but I'm really disappointed he turned that fight down. Fucking stupid.

Yep, neither guy quit. Much better. Rua went out on his shield.

Zab is watching the replay and still saying he was hit in the balls. The guy is FINISHED. He was getting dominated big time and he QUIT.

    Good point

Pretty similar in both cases. A slightly washed up, unpredictable fighter gets completely dominated.

well he was trying to get out of a deal w/ g. shaw. not sure what to say about that. either way, holyfield comparison is appropriate in terms of his style, but not his punching power, which makes him not exciting to watch imo.

Yeah, Rua was considered washed up going into the Jones' fight.:scratcher:

It is appropriate in terms of style. He's not that bad to watch IMO. The lack of power hurts his appeal, but overall he is watchable enough.

yeah, by a young superstar in the making. Don't get me wrong, jones-Rua was better, and Rua was a favorite ( i think ) wich made the result more jaw dropping, but still, both fight were devoid of any real 2 way action.

Khan dominated Zab for four rounds. Hurt him in round 5. Landed a body shot right on the belt line (thatlooked above the navel) and Zab layed down on the ground and claimed he got hit in the balls. Zab quit. :TLC:

Doesn't matter what he was considered pre fight.

The Machida fights were somewhat red herrings. Rua looked as washed up as Zab did.

    The fights were very similar.

Only like Azazel said, the Jones fight was more amazing because Rua was possibly a slight favourite.

It is amazing that Zab has balls near his waist. One of the most impressive things about him IMO.

Yeah so basically Jones-Rua was a better fight.

    Kind of what I said.

When did I say it was a better fight?

I said it was more amazing, as in surprising. Fight wise, neither was a fight, they were both dominations.

You're just being a moronic hater right now Trpl, no different from Roy who you criticise for trolling the MMA forum.

The fights were no different, if you were disappointed at the lack of fight tonight, you must have been equally disappointed in the non fight of Jones Vs Rua.

First of all, I didn't bring MMA into this discussion so you can stuff that shit. I'm not trolling anywhere dipshit.

Second, I was disappointed because Zab quit. BECAUSE A FIGHTER QUIT. That was in caps so even a dolt like you can follow along. And there is no comparison to the beating Rua took without quitting compared to what Judah did.

And anytime a fighter quits like that, it sucks for boxing. And that was my first comment.

    same here

    lamb to a slaughter

Judah had, at best, a puncher's chance VERY early

but I figured he'd get beaten very clearly and stopped (though I thought it'd be around the 10th or so, but Judah decided to quit)

Judah hasn't looked dangerous against a world-class opponent in years

disagree, he was coming off a win vs Mathysse ( who is world class ) and a big ko over Mabuza ( who seemed world class beforehand due to his demolition of holt ). Judah isn't in his prime, but he ain't shot in any way

Yeah, I'll admit the Mabuza and Mathysse fights had me snowed into thinking Zab would give a better effort.

He's chumped up before, but not like this in my opinion.
