Obviously we all know officially it's 1-0-1 Pacquiao right now, I personally have it the same but the results swapped round. I thought Pacquiao won the first fight whilst the second was a draw. Both very debatable fights though, how do you have it?

You thought the first fight was a legit draw? I thought that decision was atrocious.

Still, I'm comfortable with 1-0-1... that second fight was fucking hard to score.

Ive scored the first one multiple times. Though close, its clearly a Pacquiao victory to me. Marquez got a lucky verdict.

The second one Ive scored three times --- once for Pacquiao, twice for Marquez, & the feeling I get watching it untabulated is that Marquez edged it, but it wasnt unfair to give Pacquiao the nod.

I have them tied at 1-each.

    I had the 1st fight 114-111 Pac.

I thought the 3 knockdowns in the 1st round really benefited pac alot. Without them a draw would have not seemed so ridiculous.

I had the 2nd fight 114-113 Pac. A closer fight than the 1st, but Pac edged it for me.

I really can't fucking wait for the 3rd fight now.

I accidentally clicked Pacquiao 2-0, but I actually think it's more like 1-0-1 with the results swapped.

Jimmy, yeah those scores are pretty much exactly as I had it.

I think Manny was flat out robbed in the first fight, he won that fight clear as day.

The second fight was so close it should have been a draw IMO. Could have gone either way, too close to call. I scored it to Manny by one point, but looking at the fight as a whole, I think it should have been a draw.

I felt JMM was robbed in the first fight and should have won it.

Like Steve_Dave said the 2nd fight was hard as hell to score. I watched it 2 or 3 times and still can't tell who won. A draw would have been the best outcome but I think they gave it to Pac because everyone knew (and rightly so) that Pac was on the cusp of superstardom.

I hope the 3rd fight is as competitive.

I think so, too. They will usually favour the fighter who represents the greater mileage & money in very close, close fights. Call it sour grapes on my part, but I've seen it too many times to not call it happening here.

As I said though, in-principle at least, the outcome was fair, even though I slightly favour Marquez with my scoring in the rematch.

I guess now would be as good of a time as any to rewatch the first fight. I know I had it as a 1-pt difference, but forget which way. I think I had it for Pac, and chose 1-1 in the poll option, as I had Marquez winning the rematch 114-113.

I actually don't know what to expect in the 3rd fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if it went the distance again, but this time Pac showing just how much he has improved and wins clearly, but I will NEVER underestimate Marquez.

I'm kinda beating a dead horse, I know, but rewatching clips just there, it's really notable how much further over the back foot Pac has become between the first Marquez fight and Mosley. It makes his balance so much better, it stops him over reaching on shots and it lets him slip outside the right hand much easier which he was previously very susceptible to. All factors Marquez really relied on exploiting in their earlier fights. I actually expect Pac to win pretty easily this time.

Roach knows boxing and aint been beat 3 times.

I think justice woulda been served if it'd been 1-1, regardless of how I actually scored them. They've matched each other step for step over the two fights.

I voted 2-0 Pac and meant it. I had them scored similar to Jimmy, altho I think i had a one round difference in the first fight. Basically Pac squeaked both fights out purely on the strength of his ability to knock JMM down.

I actually don't consider the first fight a draw at all, that was a win for Pac. Had the third judge scored round 1 properly then Pacquiao wins the fight justly.

It was hard to score both fights as pac was the aggressor and landed clean hard shots and hurt marquez more, but marquez countered so well and landed nice clean shots himself that made pac take note.

I watched the first fight with a bunch of guys from my family. One of the most exciting fights I've ever seen, and at the end of it we all felt that Marquez had come back from the first round and taught Pac a lesson. Made me a Marquez fan for life.

    Agreed.

I remember thinking JMM had won the first fight, but my judgement may have been clouded by my admiration for the way he fought back from that 1st round.

when i watched it live, i thought pac won 6 rounds, so w/ the first around being 10-6, he wins 114-111. the only way marquez wins it is if he won 8 rounds, making it 113-112, which i'm fine w/ considering how close some of the later rounds were. watching it again a few days later, i thought the draw was fair.

i thought marquez won the rematch 8-4, scoring 115-112, but again, there were close rounds. can't see pac winning more than 6 though.

either way, i hope marquez wins, but at 140+ pounds, i expect pacquiao to beat him up.

Pacquiao comfortably won the first fight, that was an atrocious decision.

The second fight was very close, live I had it as the judges did, but have never rewatched. It felt like a 6-6 fight, but the KD swayed it manny's way.

I expect Pac to clearly win the 3rd fight.
