I stand corrected, but I am right in that Clichy is a good addition to the defense and they will be stronger. If this savic is any good and tevez does stay, they can go all the way.

Yea defensively City are sound. They'll be 2005 Chelsea mk. II.

They are a genuine threat to win the title this time I feel. I also think they might be one of the few teams capable of beating Barca in the CL with their horrible stifling tactics

Slice, do you think we'll get DJ Campbell?

Apparently, we've paid his release clause.

Barton on a free? Get it sorted, Moyes.

Interesting thought though - if Villa were to get him then they've effectively swapped Young and Downing for Barton, N'Zogbia and Darren Bent, with a million or two to spare. Not too bad!

^^^ yea a late goal for new york. They barely had any decent goalscoring chances in the game too. Gunners should have won.

Joe cole linked with Qpr now

All you Evertonians. I have booked my ticket for the Everton vs QPR match.

Trains to Goodison park are too expensive so i'm getting the coach from the QPR ground.

Caligula/Joemul, you guys going to the match?

    I am not.

I'll be in the UK for 11 nights in October.

4 nights in Hounslow for the Fulham/EFC match.

2 nights wherever we are playing the 4th round of the Carling Cup.

4 nights in Liverpool for the EFC/Man U match.

Then one more night back in London before I fly out of Heathrow.

There IS a small chance I can make the return fixture at QPR in March though.

    Not to worry.

I shall try my best to take pics and/or video footage of Goodison Park whilst i'm there.

October is a good month as we have 3 london derbies

    Vs Fulham, away, 1st october
    Vs chelsea, home, 23rd october
    Vs Spurs, away, 30th october

I was meant to be at a wedding but I've managed to wriggle out of it so I could get to the game. Let me know your plans.

Only thing I'd say is that I might have to get off fairly quickly after our match so I can get to the wedding reception.

I'm getting the coach there. They usually leave not too long after the match. I tried my best to get a train, but the prices are way too pricey.

You do have to love it. People called Larssen. Fucking with Rangers since the 1990's. When Rangers equalized last night, McCoist just got angrier. Off you pop Rangers, back into the Europa.
