Looks like they're trying to turn Gina Carano into an action star by getting a name director and a bunch of respectable actors to support her. I predict this gets shelved and goes straight to video.

 

So it today......2 out of 5....the movie just kept going and going..it could have been edited down a lot....and at the end all tjhe apes wanted was to get to the forrest....opcorn::shit::shit::shit:

 

Planet of the Apes started very well, but turned shitty toward the end. And the end was complete shit!

 

The end may be a set-up for future films, or they just conceded they couldnt realistically shoot or explain what comes next.

Probably the former.

 

i agree. it wasnt anything spectacular. i guess CGI was good w/ all the different types of apes, but i was surprised to see somewhat of a consensus positive reception from critics.

 

I swear film critics are attuned to two things - foreign films & blockbusters. Sell either at the right angle & theyll subconsciously decide a movie is great before theyve seen it.

 

In apes, did anyone get their face or genitals bitten off?

If not I smell a fake pussified director scared to tell it like it is.

 

Someone got their finger bitten off.....someone got electrocuted....Apes were throwing cops around..but Caesar didn't let any of them smash heads or rip faces off....

 

Saw Final Destination 5...not bad but not the best in the series....of course the bridge scene was great..a bit short though. The gymnast chick got it bad...both times.....

I was surprised w/ the ending...nice twist....
