oh no doubt. I love hendo's attitude always have. It's like he is putting all his cards on the table because he knows his time is almost up and he is actually doing very well. He has nothing to lose.

Literally, my favorite MMA argument of all time, the idea that CC was somehow washed up when he came to the UFC. Nevermind he was just a mere 6 months removed from his greatest, career defining achievement in winning the 2006 PRIDE Grand Prix. It's hilarious.

Yes as his 4 MMA knockouts against nobodies would be proof.

Please.. He shook Fedor with a shot, but that doesn't make him a big puncher.

And in the list of MMA's biggest punchers, Henderson will get mentioned and Fujita will get you laughed off the block.

    Damn.

Is he? He hit AA on the chin. Big deal.

This is the same guy who struggled mightily to put away a 205lb Abongo Humphrey.

See, this is what gets me. Rogers knocks out Arlovski, who EVERYONE knocks out now, and that makes Brett a big puncher.

There isn't a single KO victim on Rogers' resume that is impressive or an accomplishment.

"Now" is misleading, he was KO'd in his first fight ever, and Pedro Rizzo literally KO'd him with a jab.

He's always had a shit chin, it just seems like he gets hit more than ever these days.

He hasn't proven this against anyone with a good MMA resume and a proven chin.

Personally I think Henderson is a more dangerous puncher. That's what I'm saying.

But I don't have to guess because they have a common opponent. Who knocked out that common opponent?

Based on what? Knocking out James Thompson or Arlovski?

Please.. Rogers and Henderson both hit Fedor with flush shots. Henderson knocked Fedor senseless. Rogers DID NOT.

Just as a side note, we're talking about PUNCHING power. If I remember correctly, Rogers' punches didn't have much affect on Humphrey and it was a knee that got him.

    Not to mention, Humphrey gassed.

    Details.

And by "got him" it was more of a mercy stopping then Abongo being genuinely knocked out. Abongo was resilient as hell and it was actually pretty surprising Rogers gassed himeself out trying to put a guy 60lbs lighter than him away.

Right then and there is when I knew he was a joke....then I did my research and found the tanktop wearing truckers.

This is like saying Kevin Mcbride is better than Frank Bruno.

Rogers has a 90% ko ratio. That is like saying Carwin didnt have power prior to his Gonzaga fight. We all know what Power looks like. And you arent going to sit here and tell me light heavyweight, sometime middleweight, sometime welterweight has a harder punch than a a 240 pound known power puncher.

I agree, which is why it's clear Brett Rogers doesn't have that much.

I'm pretty sure I said "stuggled to put away", which he did. Rogers could barely breathe after the mercy stopping on little Abongo. He hit him with his best shots and Abongo took it.

LOL... See this is why I can't debate with you. Henderson has fought at Heavyweight before but never at 170.

Oh, and now you're saying Fedor is as past it as Tyson was when he fought McBride..

LOL.... Fedor's fights with Henderson and Rogers were less than 2 years apart.. Tyson's fight with Bruno (2nd fight) and McBride were almost 10 years apart.

Terrible, terrible, terrible analogy. Not even in the same universe.

Abongo is slippery as hell. It's hard to hit that guy. He is like a heavyweight version of Guida. Rogers was landing flush knees on Abongo and he wasnt going down either. it's clear the man's chin was very good that night.

Depends which orginzation we are talking. But if you think Hendo KOing Fedor after two consecutive losses and Rogers not KOing him proves something, i dont know what to tell you. The two fights are years apart and clearly it wasnt the same fedor.

Well, we will just leave it at that then. I think it proves Henderson has the best hands that Fedor has faced.

I like how the difference in perception is based just off the fact that Fedor lost, rather than won as he did in the Rogers fight, and takes no consideration that Hendo is about 3 letter grades superior to Rogers as a fighter, which had far more to do with the loss than any perceived loss of ability.

No doubt Hendo is a greater fighter. Not even close. But Rogers is a harder puncher. That's all the man has.

I am sure now that you have never seen a single Fujita fight other than the clip of him staggering Fedor.

And you better check your logic. You base Rogers' punching prowess on his KO ratio yet ignore the fact that Fujita's KO ratio is 16%...

Fedor is in a downward spiral since the Werdum fight. It was hard for him to process that Loss and his own pride did him in. That what happens when you don't have to deal with losing early in your career. His mindset went fuck all just like it happened to Roy Jones. Add to that his long years in the sport and it was about to happen anytime. Hendo is just what he is. An always dangerous opponent for anyone. But not good enough to be the best.

Fedor will always be the Ray Robinson of MMA,he laid the blueprint on how to be a successful MMA fighter and single handedly evolved the sport...with that being said, he is not a hungry fighter and hasn't Been for a long time, when a fighter talks about retiring, guess what? He's pretty much retired.
