Did you notice Carwin wasn't able to defend the shots he took from Dos Santos but still he got back up? Why not stop the fight then too? Fedor rolled over after taking those 2 shots. That tells you he was conscious and alert. You give a f*cking champion a chance to fight. That's what you do. You give him more leeway than anybody else in the sport. They've earned that right.
I respect Herb for making the fighters' health a priority but the man needs to just step the f*ck back. He's literally standing over the f*cking fighters. Give them some room. I get more nervous when Herb Dean is standing over the fighters about to wave it off than I do when a fighter gets hurt and is trying to survive. LOL
First, Fedor wasn't a champion of anything last night. He's an aging fighter coming off of two loses including a brutal one-sided beat down. Second, he's earned the right to stay conscious and defend himself or LOSE. Herb saw Fedor's lights go out and then take 3 shots that he wasn't even awake to defend. Good stoppage. Period.

i think the stoppage was a tad early as well. the ref's decision was completely justifiable and we all understand why he stopped it. but this isn't a fucking tickling competition
Fedor fell on his face, are you guys kidding me? Watch the replay that is posted above, he literally falls ON HIS FACE. The only reason he was able to roll over at all was because Herb Dean was already using his fat ass to push henderson off him. Perfectly good stoppage. Fedor would have got hurt if the ref let it go.

Yup exactly. He was out upon impact, and the referee reacted to that (Fedor getting clocked and falling face first to that mat). As noted earlier, the subsequent shots actually woke up Fedor, but it wouldn't have ended any better had they let it go on.
I'll give Fedor credit for one thing. The guy brings it, win or lose. He doesn't f*ck around like a pussy, backstepping and sh*t like most fighters do. The guy's never taken a backward step in his entire career. He charges forward and puts his ass on the line always. I can't believe it, but I actually agree with Hanzy on something MMA related. Fedor came to fight, that is my favorite thing about Fedor, you knew he was coming out guns blazing every time.
Those first 30 seconds on Saturday were frenetic. It was fun to watch. Fedor was all over Hendo until Dan landed that left hook. Fedor was stunned and had to collect himself.

I'm pretty convinced that most guys fighting in Pride were "enhanced" or they just weren't that good. Look at Fedor, look at Nog and Cro Cop. Who has had any kind of success that came from Pride? It's pretty hard to overlook the fact that everyone from pride seems suddenly "shot" Just saying.
