6'3 235 NON FAT, iron chinned challenger with pretty decent defence and head movement. Sounds like a nice step up for Vitali.

    How's this go?

Tough one. Cobb was way better, but smaller. Vitali might eek out a decision, unless he quits first.

This would be Vitali's best win by quite a bit.

How many rounds do you see Cobb winning? 7, 4, 0?

    Vitali 12-0, 11-1 at worst

Yeah seriously, this isn't even competitive. Vitali shut out.

Cobb does what he does best, absorbs punches while people watch in horror

Cobb would win if it were a 30 rounder

    Yep.

Repeat of Vitali-Sanders only without the stoppage.

Cobb could indeed go undefeated in 30 rounders-- his opponents would break their hands eventually

My first post was a joke, but this one is factual.

I think it'd be a good fight. Vitali would win but it'd probably be harder than expected.

depends on what you mean by "good", Taig

If you mean it'd be steady action with a gallant effort by Cobb to make things happen, than I agree

but if you mean good and CLOSE, I'd have to disagree... Cobb brings looping punches with average power on them, a ridiculous ability to absorb shots without blinking and a sense of humor, but not much else... sure, he moved his head once in a while, but very slowly, generally he was incredibly hittable... also he's having to come into range with a guy 3 or 4 inches taller who awkwardly but effectively throws long, straight punches with either hand... I just can't see Cobb doing anything other than trying, putting on a good effort, while losing emphatically

What about Klitschko against the world-ranked equivalent of Cobb, George Chuvalo?

pretty much the same thing, honestly
