But that's just it, I don't believe he's neglected it. He tried to make the fight. Truthfully, I don't think the fight will happen, because I DO believe Pac is cycling...that's been the real holdup, not Floyd. Can u really fault him for not really wanting to play games with Bob? I don't thinly Adult wants Pac anywhere neat Floyd. At least not until he's bled him dry.

Sorry u see it that way. I truly suspect that Floyd would've simply been great at something else. Thats how I prefer to view talented folk. I see their talent as a fundamental part of who they are.

You go get beat upside your head for a living and see how noble u really think it is.

I'm not frustated wit dude at all. He's done great for himself and has been a joy to watch.

    Sorry he's not Super Negro.

Floyd has never made a living being beat upside his head.

He has nothing he doesnt owe to the sport. No fame, no adulation, publicity, money, trappings, and so on. Even if you believe he would have made a mark elsewhere (your idea that talent in one place means greatness everywhere has no merit - so were he not a runner, Usain Bolt would be famous as a swimmer, or shot-putter? LOL) the simple fact is, he didnt. He made it in Boxing & he owes everything he has to the sport.

Lest we not forget...by the time he was 25 Leonard had already fought and defeated Benitez, Duran and Hearns.

It will, however, be the only statue physically capable of the act of dodging.

'He owes everything to the sport'. Hmmm, let's see what exactly does that mean? It rings hollow to me. I really don't understand the point of the repetition of this phrase.

    Anyway,

I simply feel that some people, especially those who have to work for everything they get, like Floyd, has who reach a certain level in what they do, possess an innate ability to comprehend and excel, at more than one thing. Therefore, its not a stretch to suggest tthat he could have been successful in other endeavors. Why must u restrict Bolt, or Floyd for that matter, to the sports realm? Because they're black?

Could you name some other thing which would have made Floyd this rich (that is, before he burned his money) and famous, had he taken it up. Golf? Basketball? Acting? Playing guitar? Becoming the Pope?

Mayweather is simply applying lessons learned from his father and uncle, which is that he shouldnn't lose or be knocked out, and if that means ducking the toughest population out there, then so be it.

    LOL!

Duran was jealous of Leonard's superstar status and Ray thought he could get a quick payday by beating up on a much smaller legend. Easy to make such a fight.

Both Floyd and Pac are established superstars, each with big egos and huge demands. In many ways they don't need each other...although ultimately for the sake of history they do.

    Different scenario entirely.

A better analogy would be Hagler-Leonard....but even then, Hagler saw it as a huge payday against a low risk inactive former welterweight and Leonard saw it as his opportunity to return to the big time with just one fight.

Fck PBF. It's his fault because he's African American and they're known for this. :scratcher:

Cool. So where besides boxing could Floyd be great and successful? Wrestling? Golf? Lap dancing? Painting? This sounds like an interesting theory

Wow. I never knew how far up Floyd's ass you were until this.

Not only have you no perspective on the current boxing landscape, you're historically deficient as well.

Next you'll say Ali purposely exiled himself to make the Frazier fight bigger which is quickly followed by Floyd "following" the Ali model.
