    He was, but he'd go out in similar fashion.

    I dont see McGirt's chin holding up to Curry's power, nor do I see him coping well at all with Curry's handspeed.

    I thnk McGirt's chin was just fine and he was defensively minded, a countepruncher. It isn't easy to get rid of guys like that. Beating them is one thing, but kicking the hell out of them is another. The only time McGirt ever truly got shitkicked at or near his prime was against Taylor who essentially motored all around him, flurrying like crazy, exhausting him.

    Curry was much more methodical. I wouldn't bet a nickel on Buddy being able to win, he VERY CLEARLY loses this fight, 117-111, 118-110, probably gets dropped once... but he was crafty enough to survive, IMO
