Yeah, Lewis was scared while he gave Tyson the worst beating of his life. Makes sense. Come on yaar! :dunno:
Mercer and McCall had tougher chins than Tyson.

LOL! Lewis had more than enough speed to handle Tyson. WTF are you on about? Nobody delivers an uppercut better than Lewis, even a short uppercut which would find its mark on a small guy charging in. Tyson would be giving up 13" in reach, 30lbs in weight and half a foot in height. And he'd be facing a guy who has more punching power than anybody he's ever fought. Tyson would not even want this fight. He'd never fight Lewis even in his prime unless backed into a corner. He dodged the fight for many years until there was nowhere to run.

When Tyson was Prime (Pre-Jail), Lewis wasn't ready to yet face him by Lennox's own admission. Lewis is older than Tyson too.

Their primes were literally a decade apart.

What can I say? I disagree very strongly Lewis, around 1997-02 (roughly his peak) had even close to enough speed to cope with Tyson, & the clincher is, hes extremely vulnerable to Tysons power. His career bears this out.

Irrespective of the outcome, you are behaving as if Lewis is a lock. I think thats very fool-hardy.

Tyson would be an idiot to try to rampage through one of the most fearsome punchers in history. You think Tyson is a dumb f*ck? That's what I'm getting out of your post Ramonza.
You highly overrate Tyson and underrate Lewis. Tyson had no ability to fight out of a clinch either. Lewis is the king in that area. What's the midget gonna do? Lewis traps him and walks him back into the ropes. Tyson has to start all over again, doubling up and work to get under Lewis' jab and Lewis has the right cross or uppercut waiting for him.
A 13" reach advantage is something serious, even for Tyson to deal with. Especially against an elite top 10 heavyweight great who hits as hard as Tyson.

Tyson was no Ray Mercer, I guess. Not even an out-of-shape Mercer, evidently.
