Lee Roy Murphy vs Chisanda Mutti... an unreal brawl with a double knockdown to end it... really, a must see... early, anonymous days of the cruiserweight division

I would embed Murphy/Mutti, which is really a great slugfest but I don't know how

Fabrication? Frazier spent 6 weeks in hospital after the first Ali fight, was pretty much blind by the end of the third Ali fight, and was never in either of the Foreman fights at all, both of which ended in conclusive knockouts.

The fact that he did a lot of damage to Ali doesn't negate the fact that Ali hospitalized and half-blinded him.

You can claim it is an exaggeration, I'm not sure what that claim would be based on, but it is definitely not a fabrication to say that Joe got some bad pasting, win lose or draw, throughout his career.

IMO Ortiz-Maidana is a great fight that nobody talks about because of the ending. I watch this fight at least once a week.

Tim Austin vs. Rafael Marquez was a great fight that people don't often mention.

Also, I think on the same card, if I'm not mistaken, was Ricardo Williams vs. El Pollo. That was a fantastic fight as well that most people don't mention.

Man, what a night that was. Both Cincinnati fighters lost, but in two great and exciting fights.

Smoger is generally pretty lenient, but I'm not sure, what exactly is the standard for a ref when a guy turns his back? To stop it right away?

I wouldn't have blamed him if he stopped it, but Kennedy took a knee and then got up pretty quickly.

I don't really have a problem with how he handled it.

Unless Kennedy has me fooled and he was looking to pull a Jersey Joe Walcott "act like you are strolling to a neutral corner and then BANG-right hand" type of thing, he looked like he was syaing "to hell with it" and quitting, and he took the knee only after Ncita, confused, started throwing punches at him from behind...

That's pretty bad officiating. Smogers style has always been to keep a guy in the fight, like encouraging Lou "Golden Era" Saverese to get up and keep fighting vs Mount "Those Were the Days" Whittaker.

However, this is different. McKinney basically quit, then had a think about it....but thats not how it works. If McKinney had stood there another 10 seconds longer before turning away, he might well have been KO'd.

Here is how that fight beween N'Cheater and McKinney should have been officiated
