I disagree with examples like these

The result of that fight says every bit as much about JMM's heart and will as it does about Pacquiao as a finisher

Pacquiao is a proven finisher, JMM has proven powers of recovery

I did not disagree that Floyd deserves credit for RECOVERING

I disagreed that he wasn't badly hurt, he was!:cheer:

But he wasn't close to being stopped. Same with Marquez.

    Because of recuperative powers

Another fighter very likely would have been close in each case

Floyd didn't even go down against Shane, that's not really comparable.

I don't know if it fits, but Eddie Davis was dropped and looked to be on the way out in the first round against Dwight Qawi, but Qawi couldn't get him out of there in the time left. To be fair, there was only about 30 seconds left after the knockdown and the fight was almost stopped in between rounds after Davis stumbled back to his corner.

Davis proved his heart and resilience by getting back in the fight and giving Qawi a tough fight until finally being stopped in the 11th.

It's interesting how ATGs like Spinks and Holyfield (first fight) found Dwight harder to tag than Davis did.

I love watching Qawi slip shots.
