Everybody should take shows such as these with a grain of salt. These shows are not meant to make you enjoy the fight more, give you a back story or anything like that. They are simply meant to make you buy the fight. They will say and do whatever it takes to make people interested and to get your hard earned money. I believe it's the exact same reason why Floyd adopted his money persona. Although in his case I believe it really went to his head and actually became what he intitially just pretended to be. An arrogant money hungry ego maniac.

It never ceases to amaze me. All the money and still no HAPPINESS.

The intensity and pride that the Mayweathers bring to a boxing discussion and to their successful careers, will be the SAME things that bring their downfall, whether in a ring or in their family relationships.

After the father was escorted out the gym, and Floyd was talking to his crew in the dressing room, two things I noticed:

- To an athlete, the body is his temple. Floyd didn't look in great great shape, perhaps showing his age.
- A slip of the toungue, he talked about CASHING OUT and moving on with his life.

Because of his careful matchmaking and FEAR of losing, he'll not be as great as he thinks he is in the eyes of boxing public and will need to constantly defend his record.

A defeat in the ring, or loss of his financial status, puts Floyd in serious consideration for 24hr SUICIDAL watch because of the many UNSETTLED issues in his life.

 

After all the fighting...motherfucker this..bum that...at the end Mayweather went back to my houses, cars, gym are paid for...etc...etc...WHAT the fuck was that about....?

Floyd, as he often does, sounded so forced and fake when he said that.

It was cringe-worthy.

 

In my opinion, I think he uses his possessions as a response when his resume comes into tight focus. "You're wrong, you don't know boxing, I am the greatest, look at my paid for Royces and mansion."

For the weak minded, and cash strapped, that suffices.

I did catch the "cashing out" remark, I also felt that he realized what he said and tried to change the subject quickly. Personally, I wouldn't put too much stock in the "cashing out" remark...the guy was pissed off and was mouthing off...he may or may not have meant it. As for him not looking as "ripped" as he usually does, you guys are probably right but how many times have we been fooled by weigh-in pics? and when was the last time Floyd under-prepared for a fight? This guy is as narcissistic as they come and I'm sure he kept in the shape over the last 1.5 years
