Alexander Povetkin with Teddy "MAGIC" Atlas and his dead father in his corner is set to defend his WBA "regular" title against Evander "B.C" Holyfield. The "regular" championship affair is scheduled to take place in December of 2011, Evander "Bingo" Holyfield last fought when he defeated Brian Nielsen. When approached for a comment on the "regular" championship affair Evander commented "Who are you? Where are my pills ? B45, C36, B21!!!!! " This could very well be Evander's last opportunity at championship gold. The ring legend will be 49 years old on fight night. Evander has informerd us that he is switching his trainers to combat the wise boxing knowledge and Tony Robbins on crack cocaine like motivational techniques of Teddy "MAGIC" Atlas and will be trained by a childhood friend Moses. Yes the one from the Bible.

Winner of this fight could be in line to challange "Super" heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko or his older brother Vitaly Klitschko provided he gets past former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion "Float like a butterfly sting like a butterfly" Tomasz Adamek. And last but not least let's not forget Robert Hel something oh hell who am I kidding when you have a top heavyweight contender from Finland you know the division is in trouble. Eat a straw weight gain 105 pounds and save us Manny!

My man-boobs jiggled with laughter at the opening line.

I don't know what's Sadder.............Povetkin being a World Champ at Wlad's expense or Evander Holyfield being the next in line to fight.

I smell a David Gaye comeback.

Holyfield is due to play high-tower in police academy 6. But I'm sure you would agree, that since there was plenty of american rage given that he was 'robbed of history' against Valuev, that if he were to win and claim that same fake title from enemy euro clutches, they may sentimentally attempt to override Hopkins elixir driven accomplishment, - it could throttle Hops to mcnabb Holyfield a touch. :crafty:

hold on here... who said he was "robbed of history"?

fighting for one of the many worthless trinkets that are sanctioning body belts against a circus freak from Russia? what history was to be made there?

only a lunatic fringe thinks that

you and Irish have a very poor grasp of the scope of these things as it relates to America at large... what, did some MaxBoxing guy complain about it?

I guess you can call it the "regular" WBA title, but it really is just the WBA interim title and I refuse to call it the regular title because it is an insult to the past WBA champions who actually won the WBA world title. They shouldn't be penalized for the WBA's bullshit now.

I wouldn't dare bare witness to the fight myself, but it was reported by thesweetscience.com that Holyfield had been denied history, and there were plenty of coddling cat swiping subdivisions who took up arms as such, the slight pop of volcanic love-sickness that dabbled out of a stray quill or twenty I do realise can be portrayed as a normal overreaction from the many extreme fringes, but you should dettach yourself from the patriotic sportswriter sprawl for you are an Irishman and not a republican :nono:

Holyfield doesn't know what the Urban Community know...in fact Holyfield has never been to jail, and worse yet, it is rumoured that his wardrobe of pastel shirts and trilby hats might be from last years collection. All of this would eat into any significance attaching to any win over Povetkin.

Well with Povetkins victory, Holyfield now doesn't have to risk catching hip-hep from that filthy fucking tatar.

But didn't Holy claim to have Hip-Hep and didn't he get out of the fight with Nigerian Shitemare, Henry Akinwande, by claiming Akinwande had Hip-Hep??

I would like to see Haye take on and beat Povetkin and Arreola, and if he did that he would get some respect from me and a #1 ranking in Alphabet City, which would garner him the coveted rematch with Wlad.

But instead we are met by silence from Haye-Land.

Ironically, if Adamek bests Vitali, it will be Adamek vs Wlad for all the marbles, probably in Germany.

If Haye had a fight lined up, he might have been able to force a mandatory or interfere some way in any set-up like that.

I wasn't keeping anything alive, I was pointing out the zillion or so other possible interpretations of one guy's article

I couldn't care less where a fighter comes from or what color he is... If I like his style, I'll like watching him

The list of guys among my favorites would support this

Skin is only part of the factor,.. I'm thinking there's an 'upbringing' issue pertaining to when and why people started to watch boxing, and what was it they fell deeply inlove with,.. it's a complex mix with varying degrees from person to person I'm sure, many many multitudes can feed the fire,.. but one thing is for sure,.. the 'formal' reasoning that suspects give, doesn't stack up,.. the standards demanded are no way expected of any other fighter, for if one was to 'live the lie', they'd have to be outraged with every fighter out there today.

    Holyfield always had an excuse:

"I had heart problems and a shoulder injury"

    "I had HGH-itis, I mean hepatitis"

"My motivation was down since Christ misled me when he said I was supposed to knock out Lewis in round 3....and I had leg cramps"

    "I had a busted eardrum"

    "I had an off-night"

"Fan Man ruined my momentum" (even though Bowe was winning that round)

"It is against my religion to use condoms when I cheat on my wife"

Did you know that apart from the first Tyson fight, Holyfield has done very little in his career??

He only beat Bowe because....it was because.....Bowe was making weight.
