Adamek is a 9/2 underdog in his upcoming title challenge against a 40 year old man.

Yeah, but I've always backed Frochs resume. I never backed his attitude. Froch also has a stronger case than Amir Khan.

Of course the odds are longer. Chambers is at least the beginnings of a Cruiserweight, and Wlad isn't all that much respected. So its natural the odds be longer.

    Irish makes me laugh.

The HW minimum is 200 lbs - everything over that is heavyweight, and that is for a reason. Adamek is 25 lbs over 175, where he lost due to being severely weight-drained (his words). Assuming he came in at 190 for those LHW fights, he's gone up a grand total of 10 lbs.

Both the percentage difference and the real difference from 135->147 are greater than the difference between 190->200.

Although it's kind of counterproductive on your end to basically say that Adamek is a tiny heavyweight.. that isn't really going to make Vitali's imminent win against another mediocre opponent look any better.

I basically agree w/ Cdogg's take - Floyd, Nonito, Pac in any order is acceptable, don't care about the rest

Yes, thats what it is........the Pakistani is arguing AGAINST Adameks inclusion to Khans detriment, and yet finds the time and space to accuse me of a racial agenda. Nice.

What weight do you think Khan is coming in at for his fights?? How much heavier is he than his opponents???? Moron.

Put whatever spin on it you want, Tomasz Adamek, whose pfp rankings I was touting long before he got around to making the Vitali fight, will try to claim his third WBC title in three different divisions.

That puts him in the pfp stats.

Not this "Recency" BS which has been invented.

Floyd ain't done shit "recently", other than beat up a 39 year old guy who used to be good. When he was on the EPO. Fuck it, FLoyd was RETIRED recently

Despite WHERE Adamek Began his Career, he's NOT a "Small" Guy by Any Stretch...Dude is what, 6'2-6'3 & Coming in Close to 220lbs for EVERY Fight, for the Last Little Bit???...That's BIGGER than a Prime Mike Tyson was...

Guys like Grant, Maddalone & McBride SUCK...ALL they Bring to the Fray is SIZE...David Haye Beating Valuev was MORE Impressive, in Terms of Overcoming the DISCREPANCY in Size...Haye Beating Ruiz was MORE Meaningful...David Haye is ALSO a Very Accomplished "Smaller" Man Campaigning @ Heavy, but he Damn Sure AIN'T No Top 10 Pound for Pounder Either..."However", He's Got MORE of a Case than Adamek has...

Zab's Last Win was BETTER than Adamek's Last 3 Wins Combined, Nevermind the Last 3 Wins of Grant, Maddalone & McBride's Shitty Careers...

And if Wlad had lost to Haye, Haye would rightfully be a pfp king by way of Unifying Heavyweight and Cruiserweight....instead he lost, and now verges on retirement, which makes me loathe to the notion of him ranking high in the list.

If Adamek beat Vitali, people would still object.

Sure. And it means Eddie Chambers was a more credible pound for pound entry at the time than Adamek is now.

Dude, I don't care about Khan. I certainly think he's better than Adamek, but I could give a shit less about him and his inclusion on a P4P list. Unlike you, I'm not a backwards troglodyte who views everything through the lens of tribalism. I was simply addressing your idiotic exaggeration of Adamek's move up in weight as though it was something Pacquiao-esque.

First of All, Arreola is/was FATTER than Adamek, but NOT All that Much "Bigger" Naturally....Even Fighting in the 230's, Arreola has a SOFT, JIGGLY Body...

Micheal Grant is Simply AWFUL, Dude...Even an OLD Zab Shits on ANY Version of Michael Grant...Beating Zab is BETTER for Khan than ANY of Adamek's Last 3 Wins are for him...AND, the Sum of Khan's Last 5-6 Wins is HIGHER than the Sum of Adamek's Last 5-6...

    RECENCY...

Neither Vitali nor Wlad would be considered "real risks" for Floyd in a P4P sense.

I don't think Adamek's odds would be much or any shorter against Wlad. The bookies will already have inflated their valuation of Adamek's chances with the fact Vitali is old and might degenerate at any time. Either way, NOBODY can be 9/2 against the best guy in their division and have any credible claim to being a p4p fighter.

That's One (Severely SLANTED) Way of Looking @ it...OR, you Could Acknowledge that Shane was Coming Off a Career Resurrecting Win Over Margarita, who was Regarded as THE Best Welter in the World, @ the Time....

By BEATING Shane, who Beat Margarito, who Beat Cotto, Floyd Also Regained his LINEAL Claim to the Welterweight Title...

Look, Beating Adamek will B a GOOD Win for Vitali, but U're OVERSTATING the Matter, Trying to Portray Adamek as a Top 10 Pound for Pounder...He ISN'T...

    REED:hammert:

ps. REED Made it CLEAR that he's ASSuming Floyd BEATS Ortiz...If Floyd DOESN'T, REED'll Gladly ADJUST his Pound for Pound List...

Yes they would. Both guys lose as few rounds on average as Floyd does.

Against considerably inferior opposition. Losing few rounds doesn't mean anything when you're fighting bums.

If there was an active heavyweight with Floyd's skills, physical abilities, and athletic attributes, would you hesitate before picking them against Wlad or Vitali?
