Pryor-Arguello I - Arguably THE GREATEST Finishing Flurry EVER...Pryor Traps Arguello Against the Ropes & RAINS Punch After Punch on him Until the Ref Intervenes & Alexis Slides to the Canvas...Probably the Most BRUTAL & ACCURATE Flurry of All Times...

Someone help me out. Jorge Vaca slammed someone with one herculean shot, & then just pummeled the daylights outta them along the ropes to end it.

I remember the commentator calling the other guys' name. Cleveland? Breland? Something like that.

AgREED. SRL was the best at ending fights with flurries. Meldrick Taylor comes to mind too.

This one doesn't really count... but I always loved it when Leonard had Hearns hurt on the ropes in the 13th, raised his hands in celebration, then went in to fuck Hearns up. The fight ended the next round though.

Too me, the best examples of fight-ending flurries are cases when the opponent is out on his feet. But I'm having trouble recalling specific instances of this.

I loved the final series of shots Roy KO'd Pazienza with...especially those last two uppercuts.

I'll add the Bryant Brannon final series of shots as well.

Yep, I like the modified Ali shuffle he did right before he fired those off. Man, Ray could turn it on late. The flurry that put Hearns through the ropes was pretty brutal as well.

Poor Pinklon. Anyone of those shots would snap the average guy's neck. Thomas stayed up long enough to eat 5 or 6 of them.

Not as good as the one against poor Adrian Stone. Laser fast. Stone never knew what hit him.

Roy's 4-6 consecutive left hooks against that short guy was amazing as well.

    Bryant Brannon

Yep, Pazienza almost would up wearing another halo with screws in his head after those uppercuts. Yuck!

A great one that many people haven't seen is Freddie Pendleton vs Roger Mayweather. The ending was pretty ugly and yet beautiful at the same time.

I will disagree with you there. De La Hoya landed maybe three or four really good shots, & the rest were partial strikes & a lot of shots which came fast & flashy but were hitting nothing really. It was a stand-out example of why the knockout (10-count) in Boxing is all but gone. As recently as the 80s, that would not have been a fight-ending flurry.

Ray Leonard vs Andy Price is by far my favorite fight ending flurry. The speed, and power Ray incorporated into it was a sight to behold. BEAUTIFUL ko.

My 2nd fav is Jones against Brannon.

the two KD flurries in Lennox vs. Golota are the best ever for me. The first KD: one-two-left uppercut, then three successive 1-2 combos. then the second KD was pure beatdown.

the pryor flurry is a bit undermined by the black bottle, no?

I like this flurry because it shows Oscar's growth as a fighter since the Quartey fight. He could have finished that fight with the kind of flurry he ended Vargas with that night. Straighter, more accurate, flashier shots.

god, the stoppage in the latter is one of the worst ever

Williams is yelling at the ref to get in there and the guy does nothing so Ike has no choice but to land another 10 shots or more

Ike Williams was a bad mother, because Beau Jack was a tough nut

    First one I thought of.
    Then DLH Vargas.
There's probably a few RJJ ones I'd imagine

the lewis-golota flurries were a bit undermined by the victim being on some sort of substance, no?
