Fights that just seemed wierd for some reason or another.
    For example:

Clay-Liston (don't have to explain why, I'm sure).

    RJJ-Green:
I know Roy's chin isn't exactly the greatest, but for me, that was wierd. One shot to the temple & he was out on his feet.

    Others/ explanations...?

    that fight was bizarre

    Bowe was slovenly and awful

Hide had the chin of a 3 year old and the stamina of 103 year old

True, and Hide controlled the fight early, winning the first two rounds and seemingly even hurting Bowe a bit. Then the bout turned around as Hide threw himself to canvas without being hit and got beaten after that, sometimes going down when he got hit, sometimes when Bowe missed

.....and the heart of a mouse.

The first KD wasn't even from a punch. Hide went down of his own volition and then pretended to be badly hurt. He just wanted out of the fight.

Castillo was Beating the SHIT Out of Chico in the 10th Round...Dropped him TWICE & APPEARED to have him Tenderized & READY to B Cooked...

Then, within SECONDS, the Tide TURNED & Chico was the 1 that Got the Stoppage...It's RARE to See Such a DRAMATIC SHIFT in Momentum thru the Course of a FIGHT, Nevermind the Course of a Particular ROUND...Castillo was 1 or 2 Shots Away from a KO Win of his OWN & he Really HADN'T Appeared to B Hurt During the Fight...

For Corrales to Get DROPPED Twice, Nearly Get STOPPED, SURVIVE it, then STOP Castillo Himself(In the SAME Round), is a WTF Moment...It was even MORE DRAMATIC than a Motion Picture Boxing Scenario...

REED was Actually Doing a Round by Round on Boxing Fanatics During that Fight & there were No Fewer than 20-25 "OMG's", "WTF's" &/or "WOW's" from the Posters, During the IMMEDIATE Aftermath...

Um, Corrales was essentially one half-hearted shot away from being unconscious when he fired a desperation hook that turned everything around

I watched that fight (Corrales/Castillo) with a buddy of mine and when Castillo's legs buckled we both stood up, staring at the TV saying "NO FUCKIN WAY"

apparently corrales castillo, the greatest fight of all time, was just a ho-hum affair in the snooty canucks book.

Why, do you normally get pushed? :dunno:

Corralles would have been gone but for the breaks he got, with the gumshield being located and washed etc, and him being able to turn a knockdown into an opportunity to take a breather, get instruction from his corner {not the Microsoft advice Goosen Man Tits gave was any real use}.

Corrales ALSO Had a Point DEDUCTED for the 2nd Mouthpiece Infraction...

Even if he PURPOSELY Did it, there's NO Way Corrales Could've KNOWN He'd Get a KO (Particularly in THAT Round)...He'd just LOST 3 Points on the Scorecard in THAT Round Alone...

The Mouthpiece Instances DON'T Detract from the WTF Aspect of Corrales-Castillo I IN THE LEAST, so SPARE Us your "Party Pooper" BULLSHIT, Por Favor????....

Corrales-Castillo 1 remains the greatest fight I've ever seen. The previous 9 rounds were exciting, the 8th round on its own is a classic round, yet of course it wasn't the most memorable of the fight. I wasn't quite as shocked as others here during the 10th, just excited, because I just had this "anything can happen" feeling about the fight. That right hand Chico landed off the ropes got me optimistic, and after the left hook, I started screaming at the TV for Chico to fuck him up.

Micky Ward-Alfonso Sanchez is definitely a "WTF?" type fight.

Also, Derrick Gainer-Freddie Norwood and Juan Coggi-Eder Gonzalez 1.

Is there a more outrageous robbery ever than Coggi-Gonzalez 1?

Corrales cheating by spitting out his mouthpiece is irrelevant

anyone sitting here saying that they though "yeah, he is going to come back from two brutal knockdowns and stop Castillo in the next 20 seconds" is a fucking liar

Corrales - Castillo was epic from start to finish. Maybe not the greatest fight of all time, but arguably so at least, and by far the greatest fight I've seen happen live. I do think the cheating on Chico's part marred the finish, but to a small extent - like cdogg said, everyone thought Chico was done at that point. Either way, that was the type of fight with the type of ending where there really were no losers (as cliched as that might sound).

Who said that?? I just did what everyone does in these threads, and started discussing the fight itself. What I was disagreeing with, if REED had bothered to REED the context, was the notion NOT that it was a WTF moment, but that it was the greatest fight of all time.
