Besides....if one of them knocked out the other, would it really help, considering the pre-existing level of disregard for both fighters??? :dunno:

If Jack Dempsey is an ATG, then Wlad is too.

The way I look at it.....if a fighter dominates a so-called weak era, but has some world-class attributes of his own, which Wlad does, namely the jab, left hook, right hand, strength, etc....then you have to consider opening the books for him.

Its not even a big deal as far as I am concerned. It's the wacky reasoning people come up with in order to defend their opinion that gets me.

Vitali's best win is and probably always will be Corrie Sanders. So he's immediately disqualified.

Wlad could potentially end up as a top 20ish all timer. He doesn't have any quality wins, but he's got an Olympic gold and he was able to rebuild his career after the wheels fell off back in 2003. I guess the question is... Is Wlad greater for having been killed a bunch of times and coming back? Or is he less great because of embarrassing loses to Sanders and Brewster (::) in the span of a year?
