Yeah, really obvious. So obvious we may as well just call it a historical fact that Floyd has inside info on Pac taking something.

The most plausible scenerio is that team Flid planted a mole in team Pacquiao, CTU style.

The fight was on. Everything was agreed to by both parties. Floyd wanted tests they agreed. Pac wanted 10 million if Floyd went over weight they agreed. The fight was on then Pac backed out saying he was scared of needles. Clearly Floyd had a suspicion and the fact that Pac refused the tests in his eyes cemented his suspicion. How does that make Floyd unnerved of Pacqioa? This revisionist history has got to stop.

The whole "Olympic Style Testing" Team Mayweather is asking for is just a smoke screen to avoid the fight with Pacquiao.

Floyd doesn't give two shits about cleaning up boxing or whatever. Floyd wants Pacquiao to BEND OVER for him....And he wants to because he is insecure and is not 100 percent confident that he can beat Pacquiao.

Hence all the extra demands that prior to the Mosley fight Floyd never before made.

 

I think that is about the size of it....and Floyd and his people have cynically, though correctly, taken advantage of the general suspicion which surrounds Ariza, Manny and Freddie Roach, neither of whom I would trust for one second.

Floyd then tried to keep up the pretense by asking the same concessions of Mosley, basically playing on Mosleys "Pryor" record which was derived from the BALCO scandal.

It also helped hype up and add zest to a pretty dead-letter of an event, with Floyd already heavily fancied to beat the aged and clearly shopworn Mosley.

 

No mention of these tests when the fight was initially agreed upon. Only when it dawned on Floyd that he was really fighting Pacquiao did those demands suddenly come out.

Floyd doesn't want to fight Pacquiao, end of story.

 

The picture Reed is painting is of a spooked Floyd, a Floyd who has suddenly realized, very late in the day, that there is something afoot, and that he needs to protect himself from this creeping menace.

The episode where he embarrassed Mosley with the testing was a fucking sham.

I don't think the fight has lost all significance, but in my opinion it's already about 80% the significance it was a year ago, and loses roughly 20% a year from here on out. It has already peaked. Another 4 years and it is 'Roy-Bernard II' meaningless.
