How does Cotto beat Margarito?

Its an indictment of the sport that this POS has earned two career best paydays off the back of cheating.

If that is recent feature then Margarito kept himself in shape....Miguel Cotto does many of those same things but he usually want to look pretty doing them...with his ecko sweat suit, doing push ups/ bouncing around...it seem like he just goes through the motions...Margarito seem to be going 100% with it...

 

Agreed! There has been no word from Team Cotto yet. I occasionally view the Puerto Rican news paper and there is no updates from either Cotto or Stewart.

This is one of those very very rare fights where guys are 100% rooting for one guy and one guy only. I would say that out of 1,000,000 hard-core fans who will watch this fight or take an interest in it in some way-shape-or-form, maybe 4 will be rooting for Margarito. Rios and Garcia are two of them. His wife might be the third. And the 4th will be Margarito himself.

You need to load some gloves and get that down to a 75:25.

If mom is the other :25 then you can leave it at that.

But if its pop or a brother, you need to load them gloves up some more and get it down to an even 100:0

We all knew this was going to be Margarito's plan. He's gonna try to walk Cotto down even faster and stop him. He did this to Cintron in the rematch. Cotto must be ready for the pressure because it's coming.

 

SOmebody should CUT Margarito, like in Gladiator, it would be good if he was bleeding when he came out to fight, and didn't know it, and Cotto tapped him, and Margarito died.

 

The more I think about it the more I feel it all comes down to what Margarito has left. If the Pac/Mosley beatings left a mark then Cotto may win this. I re watched a few recent Cotto fights and he's not as fast as he used to be. I think the key is that Cotto must hurt Margarito and I dont think he can.
