Yet the fact remains, Floyd did not fight him at a time when many wanted the fight. I'm sure you will say that YOU didn't care about the fight, I expect you to say that, but you're outnumbered by fans who did and that is a fact.
No? No what? Who the F was Margachito? You guys are freaking delusional. You must be republicans or some shit...
Jesus Christ, you're a class A fucktard. I'm probably the biggest Plasterito hater on this board alongside REED and a couple of others, and have always considered him overrated, but you want to try and pretend Ortiz is as valuable a win as Plasterito would have been before he was found out to be a cheating scumbag? You blind, scumsucking groupie.
Please tell me you're not really this blind, really. As the fight negotiations begun, there was no talk of olympic style tests, only when it came to signing the contracts did this new clause suddenly pop up. It was Floyd's way out of the fight, if Pacquiao agreed I guarantee Floyd would have found another obstacle. If Floyd had gone through with the fight as per normal, LIKE EVERY OTHER FIGHT IN HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER, letting the NSAC do their tests as per normal, Pacquiao would have signed the fight no problem. It's Floyd that introduced the obstacle, an obstacle he hadn't introduced in any other fight in his career.
It wasn't an obstacle if Manny had been clean and willing to prove it. Manny was initially at fault for the fight not happening. Now I think they are both at fault.
Where are the results of the Olympic drug testing for Mosley and Ortiz? Just so we can confirm that it actually happened, as Mayweather stated.
Hmm, couple quotes from Ortiz about the testing and all he talks about it urine tests, which is standard. Nothing about blood testing.
I didn't even know that testing was going on for Ortiz/Mayweather, but it makes sense that it would. Ortiz looked better, bigger, and faster than ever at a heavier weight. That sets off red flags. I might cave in, but right now I am thinking about not buying the ppvs. Both Pacq and Floyd can fuck off for not making the fight happen by now. I still can't believe they weren't able to work out an agreement with so much money at stake. I like Floyd, I like Pacq (except I believe he is a juicer), and I do think Ortiz has a real, but small, chance to pull off an upset, but I just don't want to give Floyd any of my money. I probably will cave in on the Pacq fight, but only because I want to see him beat the shit out of JMM.
I just watched all 3 24/7's and instead of making me want to watch the fight more, it's done the opposite. I'm sick of Victor's whiny little bitching (that we've heard before) about how shitty his parents were. Floyd pointed out that he's sick of it, too, and it's pretty much the same story with 'any black guy raising himself.' Oh yeah, and his team is watching Floyd/Hatton trying to figure out how to beat Floyd...and they determine that the most dangerous thing about Floyd is his elbow? Oh fuck. Good fucking luck beating Floyd by bitching about his elbows. Then Floyd with his tired ghetto wannabe thug life my dad is an asshole and I don't need him routine. Again, we've heard it before. Then you've got Floyd's stupid 14 car collection worth $4 million. Okay, it's his money and more power to him. If I was rich, I would have a big car collection. What turned me off was him trading in the Bentley to buy ANOTHER NEW Rolls Royce that looked just like two others he had in his collection and pay the dealer a big chunk of cash to make the swap. I mean, WTF, Floyd? I defend him all the time..burning the $100 bills, for example...but buying MULTIPLE NEW Rolls Royces? Those fucking things drink money in depreciation even when you don't use them. And you end up with a $350,000 car worth $150,000 in a few short years. No big deal until you multiply it by 5 or more. Like I said, I stand up for Floyd all the time and part of that includes saying that I don't think he'll be broke anytime soon. But even rich people can't afford to piss away $100's of thousands of dollars. Floyd's window of making money is closing and if he is smart a few depreciating cars isn't going to make a difference, but I'm less confident in him now than I was before.
I think Floyd had insisted extra drug testing from the start. Whatever the case, it's my belief that at this point, behind all the drug testing shit, is the fact that both sides would rather make easier money milking this shit with matchups like Pac-Mosley, May-Ortiz, etc...And if they fight, it's because there's no more easier fights to make millions off of.
Victor Ortiz might be the biggest/strongest Welterweight that Jim Lampley has ever seen.......:Chainsaw:

The best thing for the sport of boxing is for Lampley to retire. For one simple reason: ENABLER. When he asked if Floyd would be considered an all time great, the journalist said no. He said losses are part of the game especially if you are fighting the best and multiple times. Fucking Lampley didn't hear the guy: IT'S NOT IF YOU'RE UNDEFEATED BUT WHO HAS HE FOUGHT. Leonard didn't even answer his question whether Floyd is ATG. Floyd wanted Berto but he got Ortiz. Doesn't matter, neither of them is PACQUAIO. Easy work, hand picked opponent yet AGAIN. Bob Pappa!! Step your game up!!
