Ignore all the "Ortiz is huge" comments, it's a bunch of groupie bullshit from his pathetic groupies like loadedgloves to try and elevate the potential win into something it isn't. Trying to make out the career 140 pounder is some huge, Hearns like beast at 147.

The truth is they're a very similar size. Ortiz is an inch taller and has a pretty solid physique, but Floyd actually looks the more well muscled of the two, and is probably physically stronger than Ortiz, or at least as strong.

I think it was actually a good move by Ortiz.

He acted like Floyd wasn't doing anything. If you react to something it gives it power.

He didn't even react to it, by looking bothered or retaliating, making it seem insignificant.

I honestly can't believe he said that. Was that during the Berto fight? I must have missed it.

I mean, I know he can get carried away, but that's literally retarded. It's the sort of thing that would get someone mocked on this board for months.

Looks like they did a great job hyping up an easy fight into something that it's not.

I agree it's been hyped. But Ortiz is definitely the more muscular.

No. Ortiz looks solid, but Mayweather even more toned and defined.

Toned and defined dont mean shit. Im sure young sammy davis junior was more toned and defined than both of these guys. doesnt mean shit. Ortiz is definitely bulkier.

But who cares. Vargas was builkier too. That dont mean shit. Ortiz still gets beat.

Floyd looks just as thick to me, but with harder, more defined muscles. Ortiz has slightly wider shoulders and that's it.

Should be an interesting fight. Ortiz is a legitimate challenge regardless of what the Floyd haters have to say. He's definitely got into Floyd's head and Floyd is 35 and you never know when Father Time is going to rear his ugly head.

Not Sure HOW that Can B Disputed...Oritz is NOTICEABLY Taller & Thicker...Floyd's More DEFINED, Ortiz is BULKIER...Calling Ortiz a "Big, Strong Welterweight", in Relation to Mayweather, is ACCURATE...

& Ortiz will Look even BIGGER Tonight...

Yeah i dont see how it can be disputed either. I love MWS, but he does have a problem when it comes to the size of a boxer.

I'm expecting the unexpected in this bout. Wouldn't be surprised to see Floyd taste canvas for example.

    please stop

you are only saying this now so that when Floyd wins EASILY, which he should if he is even half as good as you always say he is, you can say "I PREDICTED BEFORE THE FIGHT THAT FLOYD WOULD HAVE A LOT OF TROUBLE... ORTIZ IS A BEAST, I WAS SCARED FOR FLOYD!!! BUT FLOYD DOMINATED!!! HE'S THE BEST OF ALL TIME!!!! ORTIZ COULD KO SUGAR RAY ROBINSON, HE'D HAVE AT LEAST A 50/50 CHANCE!!!!"

Ortiz is a good inch taller for sure, but the bulk between the two is negligable. Just look at the video of the weigh in, there's not much in it. Ortiz looks a tad bulkier, Floyd looks more solid.

Ortiz is not a big, strong welterweight. At best he looks like an average sized welterweight. Floyd is slightly below average size at WW.

I have absolutely no idea where all this "Ortiz is huge" crap came from, started by rabid Floyd fans I guess.

Berto is considered a small WW with many thinking he'd be more effective at 140, and they basically looked the same size in their fight.

Floyd could be fighting Regina Halmich and he'd be crowing about how skillfull she is and how he's scared for Floyd trying to deal with her speed

No doubt. He'd big Floyd up as a pioneer too, for being the first elite boxer to have the balls to step into the ring with an elite female fighter.

N REED's Opinion, The Difference btwn Floyd & Ortiz is like Comparing a PRESENT Day Pac's Physique w/that of Most Pics U See of Bruce Lee...Bruce Lee had LEAN, SINEWY Muscletone to him...Today's Version of Pac has a THICKNESS to him, w/a SLIGHTLY Lesser Degree of Definition than Bruce Lee...Floyd is Bruce, Ortiz is Pac...

BOTH Physique's R IMPRESSIVE & R Examples of What Fans Should EXPECT of 2 Guys Banging Heads Before a PPV Audience...

REED's Only Buying Into Ortiz Being a "Big, Strong Welterweight", in Relation to Floyd HIMSELF...He's Clearly NOT Paul Williams, Margarita or Hearns, N That Regard...But Ortiz IS a BIGGER Welter than a Guy like Clottey is, who's Considered a "Good Sized" Welter by Most...REED's Been CLOSE to Clottey & Floyd....Floyd's TALLER than Clottey, Slightly...Clottey's THICKER Though...Ortiz is TALLER than Floyd AND Thicker...

It'll SHOCK REED if Floyd is Able to OUTMUSCLE Ortiz on the Inside, but Having Said that, REED DIDN'T Expect Floyd to OUT DO Sugar Shane in that Regard Either, yet Floyd Did...So we'll See what Happens...

Berto is a SHORT Welter, but he's Always Been Fairly THICK for the Weight Class, to REED's Eye's...Berto was THICKER than Collazo, who's a Good Sized Welter in his Own Right...Bringing it Back to the Point, Ortiz was THICKER than Berto, when they Fought...Ortiz Appeared to B Almost a FULL Weight Class BIGGER than Berto...

There's Obviously Been MUCH Bigger Welters than Ortiz...Jim Lampley was In Between BONG Hits or Something, when he Made the Silly Reference in Regards to Ortiz...But as it Pertains to FLOYD, Victor Ortiz IS a "Big, Strong Welterweight"....

People forget how deceptively strong Floyd is.
