Yeah, that's pretty telling to be honest.

As amazing as Morales is, he's a career 122 pounder, and an OLD 35, yet he did fucking well against Maidana, had a proper close fight with him.

The same Maidana who basically pwned Ortiz.

It's amazing really when you think of how HUGE and brilliant Ortiz is (one of the biggest welterweights of all time according to LG and Sly).

I have a tough time rooting for Morales here just based on the fact that he'll make "history" by being the first Mexican to win world titles in 4 divisions.

He looks average at 147 at best. Oscar/Tito are big welters, Plasterito was a very big welter, Tall Paul and Hearns are huge welters.

Ortiz and Floyd are roughly the same size. Neither are big at the weight.

Also, Maidana would beat Berto. Berto is very average at world level, he's got very quick hands and that's really it.

 

He seems to be having some problem with Cano...since he isn't a mindless brawler like Maidana, who Morales could counter often.
