I like Morales to stop him late. He would make it a war after Gamboa has some success early with his speed and movement but he would ultimately grind him down and make the fight one sided as it got into the late rounds. Morales TKO 9
Morales would have some difficulties with Gamboa's speed, especially his handspeed, but I think Gamboa is frankly a flawed fighter defensively, you can reach him for sure and he tends to get a bit wild, throw an extra punch or two that are unnecessary to finish a combo, he'd be more effective if he wore more economical with his combos... but he's flash and dash and tries to dazzle people... I think Morales takes full advantage of those flaws with counter right hands... It's a close fight for 6 rounds or so, but "El Terrible" starts to land more and more often and Gamboa starts to look more and more the worse for wear... Morales TKO9 or TKO10 sounds reasonable to me
First 3-4 rounds....Gamboa will look awesome...Max Kellerman will be touching himself in the presence of such speed/agility/ and blackness...but Morales would be landing the harder, accurate, stinging counter punches....by mid fight Morales takes control and pummels Gamboa into submission....
no way, man, it's a great, great track "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" is GRANNY music (the specific song Lennon was referencing when he made that comment... as if the guy who happily sang "Just Like Starting Over" should be making judgements on the lack of hard-hitting lyrical content in someone else's song) ... I'm pretty sure Lennon loved Hey Jude, as a matter of fact and even coveted being the "Jude" in the title, though McCartney insisted it was meant for Julian
I think the Beatles are overrated on an objective level, and on a subjective level I don't like most of their music (Hey Jude is kind of OK I guess). However, Revolver is amazing. I think it's their best work by a country mile, it has a certain energy and brilliance to it that's unmatched by any of their other work. Taxman, She Said, I want to tell you etc etc, over half the songs on the album are amazing.
Lennon & Harisson's stuff on Revolver is the only Beatles stuff I really listen to. Now lets straighten up & fly right before uncle feebes catches us and gives us all another bollocking.:scared2:
50% of beatles songs are terrible 25% are so-so and 25% are the some of the greatest songs ever written
50% are terrible (McCartney) 25% are so-so (Lennon's less inspired stuff) 25% are amazing - (Lennon's good stuff)
I don't know. I'm more inclined to instincively pick Morales against any given fighter at 122, but not so much at 126 and above. More so, I can't think of a single win he possesses to support the argument that he breaks down a fighter of Gamboa's skill level in the manner you suggest. I lean towards Gamboa by decision here. No way he's knocking out (or even down) Morales, but I see his activity and speed being a bit too much for him to handle.
A quick look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Beatles_songs Tells me you're mostly right. Though a lot of my favorites are credited as "Lennon, with McCartney."
Im being a little overly dogmatic Blackbird Drive my car Michelle We can work it out yesterday All listenable. The blandness still oozes out most of them but I wouldn't deny that they're good songs. The only one I ever voluntarily play is blackbird.
Yeah now you mention it i hate that song too :: So inane, like the lyrics were written for a school musical. You can just imagine a bunch of half hearted 14 year olds making jazz hands and doing stupid dance-mimes along with the 'drive my car bit'. So shit.
