It's rumored that Cork-based Cuban, Mike 'The Rebel' Perez is desperate to secure a fight with Tyson Fury on November 12.

Perez hasn't fought since May, after winning the Heavyweight Prizefighter tournament and believes he has the tools to dethrone Fury.

I hope Rumors are true and they meet and hope Perez knocks the shit out of Fury.

Fuck Fury's team. Running scared of Perez!!

Fury beat Firtha in his last fight in 5 rounds. Perez fought Firtha in May and messes him up inside a minute!!

    Fury's ducking him. Chickenshit.

I'm still trying to get my mind to accept the utterly fascinating combo "Cork-Based Cuban"

most amazing thing since Crisanto Espana was a "Belfast-based Panamanian"

I can just see fatty Perez getting into an inflatable tyre, paddling out of Habana before, frustratingly, pitching up in Ireland 8 weeks later :scratcher:

    Firtha is garbage.

How do you see fury doing against the likes of povetkin or chagaev?

Hut is being harsh on Perez, who actually looks quite handy. He'd batter Tyson Furry IMO

He throws some decent body shots, but his balance is horrid and Damon Albarn gets as much rotation on my record player as he gets on his cross.

He is noticeably less fat than Furey though so he'll have my full support.

Yes, but both men come to fight and move their hands. Unlike Ortiz, who has 3953843 threads in his fucking name in this borgata. Fury vs Perez would be a much much better fight than Ortiz vs Floyd, with a better atmosphere and far superior pre-and-post fight interviews from both men.

The Cuban Sugar Daddy, riding the arse out of all those Irish Sluts, versus the big Irish tinker, who will avenge his honour by slash-hooking the shite out of the fat Cuban Darkie.

Oh, the tickets will walk off the shelves.

It's a bit like saying Ross County-East Fife would be better to watch than Barca-Malaga since there'd be more running around & tackles. I know which I'd rather watch.

It doesn't matter.....Floyd vs Ortiz was fake, fake shit. I mean, how on earth could anyone justify Ortiz chances, and the taking of $50 at that, on the basis that Ortiz had a "functional weight advantage"and then, in the next breath, turn around and diminish guys like Fury on the grounds that "all he has is size". :dunno:

Basically, the pre-fight stuff here will be real. Not some soppy shite like 24/7.

The fight itself will be real. Not some mother-hugger getting cheap-shotted onto the seat of his pants.

And the post fight stuff will be real. Not "you ain't shit, larry".

That is standard fare for Fury and his people.....when they get beat in the Ammy's, like they did by the powerful but fragile David Price, they said it was politics, that they were robbed. Now they are talking up some wins in the Ammys over Perez.

Did he beat him twice, who knows. Fury didn't have a lot of Ammy fights, it was well under 100 anyways. Well under it.

    EDIT: 30-4-1 {26}

Not much of a record, hard to see him having faced Perez twice in such a short# of fights.
