They have been having these previews, a lot of Warren cards, decent enough, but whats on the schedule for the future??
Do we need to ring SKY? Do we go through SKY? For £10 a month some of those fights seem decent enough.
They're using Sky as the platform so you will need to have Sky or cable, but they themselves are a seperate entity. So I think you just go through BoxNation directly and give them your viewing card number etc.
£10. Come on. All we have ever asked for is fights at a proper price. He shows some good stuff, for £10 a month.
"Warren, who is a shareholder in the new venture, will honour his contract with Sky Sports but Nathan Cleverly's October 15 showdown with Tony Bellew will air live on BoxNation"
:dunno: Whats the beef. If you can get reliable streams for decent fights online for £10 a month, no problem. Whore your user-details to people here and subsidize your life.
Looks not at all bad. If they can flesh it out with documentaries of classic fights/fighters and old fights it might be great. That said - seems like another step in boxings self-marginalization.:notallthere:
Not sure about that- Warren getting away from Sky is good, some of the Tyson Fury stuff is on Channel 5 now, the more boxing you can get for free, or for less, the better. Setanta kicked the bucket in 2009 and it's been either SKY or Primetime since then.
I'm just concerned that nothing on a boxing only channel gets seen by anybody except hardcore fans. Exactly like PPv. The general sport fans who might dip in one saturday night and develop an interest are shut out. If Morales-Barrera hadn't been on general sky sports I wouldn't be wasting my life here with Archie Moore in a second window right now.
Hut makes a valid point, however the glory days of boxing on utv are gone and will not return anytime soon. 10 for that schedule seems really good to me
I'll probably subscribe, but I hate Werren so much that I might hold off for a while to see how things pan out... MTF
