hatton fought cans and washed up foes till he got to tszyu, who was old and worn out himself. excluding tszyu, floyd, pac and possibly jose luis castillo (who was shot), his resume sucks.

Yes, but has success early, then tszyu lands a bomb and it's goodnight sweetheart. I admire khan, but I see him doing a judah dance here before collapsing to the canvas.

Yes, but look at the guys who had world-class left hooks downstairs and see how Ricky matches up with them. His foot speed was quite simply exceptional. Take away his left hook to the body and he can still win fights. Take away his foot-speed and he is probably Mickey Ward.

Hatton hurt anyone he hit with the hook, and could take them out. Ward paralyzed guys but I'm not sure they were as good as the guys Hatton was beating in the first place...but, ounce-for-ounce, his hook was probably better.

HAttons chin was fine. In fact it was solid. Ward never fought a guy as good as Mayweather at 147 so who knows. And Ricky was Gerry Cooney in the health department by the time he go to fighting Pac. We didn't know it at the time but we do now.

Hattons superior foot-speed allowed to win fights that would have seen Mickey Ward walk-forward all-night-long in a hema-depleting attempt to land a left downstairs.

I'm just kidding. Although I do think Ward did have a better chin and bodyhook. Even without foot speed, Ricky probably dominates him.

Yes, but later in his career his body hook disappeared as he relied almost solely on his horrible leaping hook. His endurance and heart were excellent, but ALL world class operators should have these as par for the course IMO. They are not 'exceptional' to Hatton.
