    Probably done B4 but I can't remember.
For the sake of the exercise let's assume that PBF agrees to the fight, & doesn't have a subsequent change of heart..

    Who gets the Dec..?

This is one fight that I tend to agree that Floyd may have tried to avoid. I mean who really wants to fight a tricky southpaw like Whitaker if they can avoid it? SHiiiiiiiit Lewis didn't even want to fight Chris Byrd...but we digress....

Goes the distance 100 times out of 100 naturally. Every single fight ends in a disputed decision....as both men are difficult to hit. I tend to think that the judges would favour Floyd's work more than Pernell's for the majority of occasions. Many fans may see it differently of course.

I'd favor Whitaker but this coud be a one of those fights that's even more difficult to score than predict.

God, I really don't know. I might actually lean towards Floyd based on McGirt's relative success counterpunching against Pea. Pernel's fighting pride counts against him - any compulsion to force a fight of it in this one plays right into Floyd's hands. Floyd is much more willing to let the whole place fill with stink if it's to his advantage, and whoever leads gives away the advantage.

I can just see Floyd landing the eye catching stuff in most of the rounds. On near even odds I wouldn't bet a quid though.

you should start a topic of whether mayweather jr is more scared of getting hurt, injured, beat up....or more scared of losing a bout. that would tell us whether he even takes this type of fight.

    I'll keep that in mind.
So who do you think would win out of Pernell & Floyd @ 140?
