May I suggest HBO makes this a cage match or place nets around the ring to keep Kermit from jumping out.

Cintron actually has a chance here. It all comes down to how bad he wants it. This is his last chance at a name IMO.

Canelo didn't exactly look good in the Gomez fight. He just sat there getting punched not throwing anything. I give Cintron a real good chance, he's certainly better than Gomez.

I agree. Plus Cintron has a good punch that can end this at any point. It will be very interesting to see how Canelo reacts to Cintrons punches.

Cintron's punching power hasn't been there. Without it, he will not win.

Double L what are your thoughts about his punching power? At first it looked very good but at times it looked ordinary. Whats the deal here?

    I don't know.

I think he's wise to the fact there's no point in throwing everything hard, and so tries to set up big shots. But lately he hasn't seemed able to do it.

So maybe his problem isn't as much his power, but his ability to set up and find opportunities to land big shots.

Plus, opponents have a lot of success smothering his punches by getting close.

Finally, I think he's relying too much on his hook in his last several fights. He needs to mix in his right-hand more.

Very good points. I agree I think the power is there it's just that he isnt setting it up properly. Dosent he have Shields as a trainer? If so thats a pretty good trainer. Cintron needs to take full advantage of his corner.

Cintron hasn't knocked anyone out in almost four years and most of the guys he KO'd were scrubs or small guys.

It's safe to say at this point is power was a sham.
