Did Pacquiao so much as lose a round against any of those guys?

Tito COULD beat Pac. He was a killer. But using welter opponents as evidence is foolish. I think you have to favour Pacquiao. He's been so dominant since moving up.

Tito could level him though. Its possible.

    It's just my opinion.

    I seriously doubt it.

How Pac did against DLH/Shane, is similar to what DLH did to Chavez, or Tito to Pernell. Not really a big deal and not even mentioned as great wins by either fighter. Chavez and Pernell were clearly past it, as was Shane/DLH.

As far as Margarito/Cotto/Corley? Those fighters would be very average in that division back then. Similar to Carr/Campas/Coley.

It's easy to look good against average or old opposition. As great as an offensive fighter Pac is, he wouldn't dare be so busy against those guys in their prime or he would find himself on the canvas.

Hell I think Manny vs a prime Quartey is a toss up.

As far as Floyd is concerned, fuck him.

Mex if i go by your logic that would make Manny just another boxer. IMO, manny has the potential to be the greatest of all time. if the greatest of all time cant beat DLH, Tito and Mosley or even Ike, than what the fuck man. I dont see anything in Manny's style that would say he loses to any of those guys. He is bashing guys bigger than him and knocking them.

other than mosley after the first forrest fight none of the above mentioned guys at any time fit the criteria of a pacquiao welterweight foe.

maybe, but I can pretty much guarantee you he would have made quite more vs Tszyu than he did versus Bruselles, Corley, N'Dou and Sosa

Margarito didnt fit that criteria either until pac fought him. I just think pac is all about legacy. I cant see him not fighting these guys in their prime.

he didnt? he got destroyed by an old ass mosley. prior to that asswhipping roach was telling anyone who would listen that margarito was waay too big for pacquiao

ya? how much more? mayweather jr was getting paid around 4 million for those fights. you must also consider that tszyu would need to be paid, and that he fought for showtime. i think mayweather jr would have had to take less or the same, and HBO would have had to pony up another several million for tszyu. and the fight wouldnt have sold more than 4 or 5 thousand seats unless it was in michigan or australia.

Well he's clearly not just another boxer, but to say he could beat a prime DLH, Tito, Shane, or even Quartey by what he's shown so far at welterweight against the types of fighters he's fought there so far, is insane.

He doesn't have the potential to be the greatest of all time. Even if he beats Floyd, he still wouldn't. It's not his fault, he just don't have the opposition to face.

The fact is we don't know if he can beat any fighters like prime DLH, Tito, Shane, Quartey because he hasn't fought that type of fighter yet and really, there's only one available, Floyd.

You're putting too much emphasis on him fighting "bigger guys" and knocking them out. That is what YOU see. If he's so tiny by the way, why did he outweigh DLH on fightnight? Why can't he fight Marquez at 140 or 135?

What I see is an explosive entertaining offensive fighter beating the shit out of old men and mediocre fighters.

This is far, far more off base than anything Anthony has been saying.

    Really? In what way?

You think it's a foregone conclusion Manny could beat a prime DLH, Tito, Shane, Quartey based off beating old ass Shane, DLH and the not so greats Margarito/Cotto/Clottey?
