I was out last night so don't think I've forgotten. I will answer all your points one by one, this isn't over!
Yeah strange... your kid is earning 200k a week and you get yourself involved in some scam for 5-10k ?? beyond stupidity.
Breaking News: Edele Taraabt Father In Goat-Pimping Scandal. Kebab Taarabt, father of noted X-Factor Contestant Edele Taraaabt, was arrested yesterday by a down-town Saharan Vice Squad on suspicions that he was pimping his goats out to his friends and keeping all the proceeds for himself. Kebab, who is also known as Kebab-X to his closest friends, is purported to have made millions of dinari {£4} from his flesh trade. Reamed by Moroccan Weeners this poor bitch is tethered and worked to the bone on the sidewalk daily. Mr Taarabt, pictured, said his son, high flying Edele, never sent him any money from England, where he earns millions as an artistic footballer, an impressionist, one might say. Angry: Kebab Taarabt bemoans sons greed. "He never sends me a fucking dime", claimed Kebab, when confronted by the local magistrate, Justice Ali Sendimdown III. The case continues...
Keiran Dire. He used to be the big swinging dick of English footie....him and that fella that plays on the bench for Spurs.
OK lets get cracking. There was last weeks tantrum and Taarabt spitting out his dummy at Hull, asking to be subbed. Warnock made him look like an idiot on the latter occasion by pointing out there were Premier League scouts there and he blew his opportunity by being a petulant kid. He isn't wrapping him up in cotton wool, he is just aware the guy has ridiculous ability which can be lethal if harnessed properly, if Adel acts like a twat he will call him a twat. With Ferguson/Ronaldo, Ferguson made excuses for Ronaldos behaviour, I can't recall Warnock ever doing that. The guy will do nothing for our club?? He done this for our club: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/FgAlbVmorz4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> And this: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WewSlCbzRIw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> And this: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/seqUqLPp_DA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> These were all crucial goals/assists at crucial moments (theres plenty more) which proved to be the difference between us and the playoffs. I've always said he's probably going to go in january, I'd love him to stay but if he does head off, I can't begrudge him a single thing, he's done more than enough for my club. Another thing which surprises me about your dislike of Taarabt (ability-wise) is that you've always struck me as something of a traditionalist who appreciates footballers with old school skills and trickery, rather than these "athlete footballers" who permeate the game today. Taarabt is the very embodiment of skill and trickery, I really can't see how you can downgrade his ability :dunno:
There is no "Taarabt crisis" at QPR, he's just like marmite with Rangers fans. Some love him, some hate him, I personally think he's great. EVERYONE at Loftus Road respects his ability and what he's done for us though, and they know when he's on the pitch he will give it everything. He just wants to entertain. Warnock at Sheffield United rubbed people the wrong way, no doubt, but at QPR he has been cool, calm, collected and let his team do the talking. He hasn't mouthed off about referees, nor has he made excuses for defeats. Even when Dave Jones refused to give us an iota of credit for taking 4 points off his side last season, Warnock still praised Cardiff. The only mouthing off about referees I've seen from him has been at the Villa game this season, which was perfectly justified. Traore barely touched Agbonglahor and it was never a penalty, and we had two stone wall penalties turned down. He moaned about that, and I would have been angry if he hadn't.
Warnock and Taarabt: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UsJzi9b9Ito" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Sums it up: Tarbs acts up, Warnock gives him a bollocking. "Crisis" over.
Financial, for openers. They might not stay up and wind up having to sell him for half of what you could have got in the Summer.
He has looked good in the Premiership so far. As I said before, I think there's still a chance he could go in January, if that's the case then there won't be any significant change to what he would have been worth in the summer. If he stays then he will be part of a strengthened squad. It's too early on to say how we will do eventually, but I am very confident we will stay up.
Myself and Slice know what our club is made of. We know we'll survive, we know we'll push on from there. We know we'll be in Europe in a few seasons. We believe. We have faith. We are QPR.
