Anyone ever seen this National Geographic animal show? It's one of the best I've ever seen with some of the most rarest animal encounters and behaviors caught on film.

given your belief in the climbing abilities of Lions, I'd say you don't know as much as you think, cabron

  5. Dude...you really think you can escape a lioness by climbing up a tree? :giggle:

No one is saying that Lions climb as well as Leopards, just that they climb better than humans.

Absolutely... just have to keep going higher... they can't do it worth a damn, and more importantly they can't get down without risking injury

they can scurry up to a certain level and then nothing

we are related to apes, we are far better designed for climbing trees, especially climbing high

a leopard, on the other hand...

    Speak for yourself mighty joe.

  9. Apes have hands for feet. We don't. Climbing comparisons between apes and humans end there...

They actually did have a Lion on one episode try to escape some water buffalos and he couldn't get all the way up the tree and eventually got tired of hanging and the buffalos let him have it when he jumped down from fatigue. He wound up getting away, but on this other episode they actually showed some water buffalos kept ramming this one lion. You could actually see the lions broken bones through his skin and they kept hitting him. I actually had to turn the channel. I felt bad for that lion. They also had another one where some lions killed a badger, but the badger went out like a G. He was fighting and snarling the whole time and didn't die easily.
