    Taxi Driver better than Godfather 1 & 2? Fuck no!

    Chinatown is also light years better than Taxi Diver.

    We can agree on Network though. Brilliant movie. Easily top 10 all time movie.

    also, it is inevitable that these lists are going to contain actors only from the 1960s onward

    Jimmy Stewart, Rex Harrison, Humphrey Bogart, Henry Fonda, Max Von Sydow, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant -- all great actors, all guys with NO CHANCE of ending up in this thread

    the point i was trying to make is, i actually like goodfellas the most of scorsese's movies, and part of the reason is scenes like the billy batts one. didn't really make the point well.

    How many of his movies have you seen? I actually want him in my top actors of all time, but i separated from English to non-English speaking. This guy is literally one of the best actors i have ever seen.
