Watch it admin. You need to be a example of good conduct to all.

Why would you say I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about?

If you can't (or won't) see the difference between Pacquiao fighting JMM now and PBF fighting JMM when he did, then I'm done. Which I declared before you did. So there.

Good so you are done. Such a ridiculous argument on your part. You should be ashamed of yourself.

marquez was a joke of an opponent for mayweather jr. he should already have a victory over pacquiao. so i think that makes him a more legit foe.

    More conspiracy theory bullshit...

  8. btw, in a recent interview Marvin Hagler picked Pacquiao to beat Mayweather.

Still we all know that Hagler is biased against arrogant slick speedy olympians that jump weight divisions and make lots of money.

I need you to immediately go to Webster's Online and look up two words:

    1) Fact
    2) Conspiracy

The first thing you will notice is that they have different meanings. The second thing you will notice, hopefully, is that you're dumb as shit.

Insults aside, you and folks of your mindset always default to this mythical 'margarito-cotto-williams' argument as if its the gospel, in spite of the constant debunking of that tripe. If its not that, you wax nostalgic about how he really lost to Castillo.

Whatever man; sounds like conspiracy stuff to me.

Don't blame Floyd for professional boxing's structural deficiencies...they were there long before him and will apparently be there long after.

He straight up ducked the third fight and fought David Diaz instead, who had just arguably lost to the fat shell of Erik Morales. He's only fighting Marquez now because Marquez no longer appears to be a threat at this age and weight.

Has this forum been hacked by premenstrual women?

What doesn't make sense about arguing context? Your dismissal of this is insulting.

There are literally countless, COUNTLESS rematches and trilogies that have been either uniquely valuable, or at least in part more valuable because of the history between the fighters. Often times the ONLY thing that makes a rematch interesting is the fact that the fighters involved had a good HISTORY of fights together, often because their styles match up in an interesting or entertaining way.

With no history, a mis-matched and boring style matchup, and little clamor, a fight like Floyd/JMM is a joke. Throw in the weight and it's ridiculous.

For Manny/JMM 3, the weight is the only thing to validly bitch about. And I would grant that point to anyone arguing that the agreed upon weight makes the fight of lesser value in many ways, competitively being one of them.

But given the history, and the fact that for just about every boxing fan who says Manny won both fights there are an equal number of fans that say it's 1-1, and that say JMM won both fights.... you cannot possibly in your wildest fantasy land with purple unicorns and mosaic rainbows dismiss the added value of this fight due to the context in which the fight takes place.

I would go as far as to say that fighter history and previous matchup dynamics are the MOST important part of assessing the impact and value of a rematch to a true boxing fan. Whether someone has a tin belt or not, or is "ranked #2" is absolutely fucking meaningless.

A 2nd Kostya Tszyu fight with Vince Phillips or a 2nd Chris Byrd fight with Vitali or in the case of fights that materialized, a Ward/Gatti 2 are the types of fights that have added significance above and beyond trinkets and resume padding to a true boxing fan solely because of the context of the rematch.

Manny is certainly taking a risk in this fight, albeit a mitigated one at welter, and in addition I would submit that sheerly for entertainment value you would have to be a lunatic to compare this fight with something like Floyd/JMM.

No sport is even remotely as compelling to watch if you are are an amnesiac, is it?
